W H Y, I gained 3 pounds . Takes 3 billion years to lose a few pounds and one bad meal to gain it all back
-
yeah my bmi is not good at all. I've got a smart scale now so I can start tracking myself and hopefully lose a bit
-
Your weight is suppose to fluctuate 8~10lbs (4~5lbs either direction). It's when over a course of a few months or a year you see the scale go (lets say you weight 130lbs) 130+10, 130+13, 130+17 and it's just not dropping it just keeps going up then yes there's a problem.
Or it's just your biology, some people can't help it.
Edit:
Also if your B-day is true you're barely going on 16 years old. You've got years of growth to go so of course your weight is going to increase.
-
Fat also isn't that bad for you. You need it to survive.
Did you weigh yourself at the same time you do every day, or did you weigh yourself after the meal?
Obviously if it's after the meal and before you've passed the waste, you're going to be heavier. You've got food inside you.
People that constantly weigh themselves are doomed to failure when it comes to weight loss, because you simply can't micromanage it that way.

ok guys, I'm making a stupid blog so I can motivate myself through peer pressure. Come fat shame me

@Silentprototipe Ah that happens. You're young and growing. You should expect it. Plus, weight has little to do with how in shape you are. For all you know you've simply gained a little more muscle mass.
-
@dizmo Yeaaaah, Ive noticed my legs are getting slimmer sooo. Thats fun
-
@TopHatProductions115 BMI is a horrible indicator
@Silentprototipe How much do you weigh? How tall are you? Do you work out at all, or have a higher muscle mass?
-
@dizmo 5'6 (Or 5'7 I havent measured in a year). I work out often. Though I just run 2 miles and bike 3. Thats about it
-
@Silentprototipe About the same as me then. How much do you weigh, though? You should grab a couple 20lb weights and start using those, too.
-
@dizmo 174 pounds atm
-
@Silentprototipe That's not bad at all! Depending on how dense you are I guess. What size shirts/pants do you wear?
Gosh this is getting weird...but it's for comparative's sake, honest.
-
@dizmo Mostly in the size L and 34 inch for pants. Thats all I really know
-
Hmmm. I'm a 32, and size medium You need more muscle.
-
@dizmo Im not trying to gain muscle here though . Im just trying to lose fat
-
@Silentprototipe Then you're doing it wrong Building muscle burns fat, both in the action of exercise, and as the muscle consumes the fat to survive.
You should take a look at your sugar intake.
