  1. So the 3600MHz RAM is around £10 more expensive so seems worth it for the little extra. And as you say it seems the best for the price. I don't care for RGB and all that lol. Great on the MOBO as I really like that one. The MSI mag AIO cooler is £90.92 and the BeQuiet dark rock 4 is £57.36. So it would seem the I have what I need. Ryzen 5 5600x MSI MPH B550 Crucial balistix 3600MHz ram just need to decide on cooler now, but it would seem that price is the cheapest i will get. Heads up though, i'll need software help next lol, as I want to use my excising SSD for my OS.
  2. 3. No not yet as I say I wanted to get everything from one place but think I'll have to use different venders. Pain but needs must. as far as Mobo the MSI MPG B550 is ok yeah? just ram i need to upgrade
  4. just looking at: BeQuiet! Pure Rock Slim CPU Cooler but still looking at RAM as most I can see is 3200MHz
  5. PC World here have it for £280 but they never have them in stock. The list I first posted was from CCL Online and came to £554.99. But they dont have 3600MHz ram I did think I would be ok in regards to VR but just wanted to double check. I'll stick with a box fan cooler them and save some pennies there
  6. been sitting at 330-350 for a few weeks now

  9. Ok, so the CPU is in stock so in that regard am not concerned. As far as coolers go I prefer the AIO although I was led to believe the Ryzens run hot. So no big deal there. Ill up the DDR4 mem, just wanted to get everything from one place (being lazy really) The machine will be solely gaming. Thanks Downkey ill have a look at that now. Must add am in the UK. Looking in the short future to use VR but not sure what to do there. May be a future thread on that lol.
  10. Well its been a few years since av been here. So hello again. MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R CPU AIO Cooler. Is this a good system? I'll be using my RX 5700XT GPU I currently have, I5 4690K CPU MSI Z97-GD65 Mobo Corsair H100i GTX AIO 16GB (x4 4GB) HyperX savage DDR3 3200MHz
  11. Why would installing a new HDD cause this problem?
  12. Wow it's been a while. Ok so I have had my new HDD unattached and the computer hase been running fine with post code 02 which is normal. I have literally just plugged the new HDD back in reformatted it and I now have the troublesome code A0. Am I doing something wrong. All i did was plug it in start the computer then formatted.
  13. so am not sure if anyone is still following this thread or able and willing to help but ill post this anyway. I have disconnected everything from my computer and started adding things back at the moment all i have is 1 stick of ram my OS SSD and CPU cooler and I get the same AO post code. seems to be running ok but it always does seem ok before it crashes. any further advice would be greatly appreciated. I really need help with this before I buy a new mobo to find its actually an issue with my SSD or a cable or some other obscure part.
  14. Ok so no it's not worked. I know have 03 showing up which is " power on North bridge initialisation" no idea what that means. Machine has been on all day. Have shut it down and restarted with no issue. However am installing a game and 3% into the install the computer blanks out again.
