Whats the first song before the intro, thanks. Also they should put song names on the video in a corner so people would actually see and know what they are hearing.

They should remove an article as well, because they "fixed it", but in reality it is still full of mistakes. -

3D Modeling & Design – Do you REALLY need a Xeon and Quadro??
IIrmantass replied to AlexTheGreatish's topic in LTT Releases
Don't know about Solidworks, but when it comes to Autocad it runs fine on Pentium N3530 4 gigs of ram with no SSD. Bump ram up to 8 gigs + SSD then you will have quite good machine. This is tested in real world when we had to do some tasks for uni. But as mentioned in video s**t may get real when you try to create blueprints or models for shopping centre or something else.- 69 replies

Now we should realise that Linus is an engineer.

I really Like that AMD got something new in their pocket. That means if they make more stuff like this Intel prices should drop a little bit, which will be nice.

I loved this part: Says that he can't have a leak because of the petabyte project, then uses epoxy to fix his f'ed up radiator. Typical Linus.

If you have a detachable antenna you could mod one to so called "dual-square/биквадрат" or so called "антенна харченко" (antenna kharchenko) Link to Russian page here. or youtube video . If done correctly you can have amazing results. If that doesn't then try ФА-20 (FA-20) link to ukrainian page here It's one big mofo, but it should work very well. It may look ghetto, but it will boost wifi signal significantly if you have tools already laying around. Use google translate if you don't understand to read what they say. If you have any questions with translation let me know, and I'll translate it for you.

I need a low weight, long battery life laptop.

It is sold out everywhere. The price is a little bit to the real side. 1030 euros. So not that bad actually. What sucks a little is that Ram is soldered, but I shouldn't expect miracles anyways for my criteria and price range Lol. -

Now I'm using cheapest acer you can find. With an SSD and a Ram upgrade it's quite good actually. But when you have to carry around , it feels like you have a backpack full of brix. And to be fair that HP has been abused quite badly, and guess what, it somehow works. -

It would be hard to make for weights I'm aiming, but it's definitely an alternative
