I'm (maybe) going to be getting an EVGA Supernova NEX 750w 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Suply, and one of my friends told me not to get NEX power supplies. What does the NEX mean? Should I not get it?

So I'm going to be buying new parts for my build around christmas and in my build I have a MSI R9 Radeon 390 with a Intel i5 4690 3.5 Ghz Quad Core Processor. Will there be any bottlenecking?
