  1. I just wanna say that the Corsair K70 does have a brushed aluminum finish (makes it look fantastic). But, brushed aluminum gets very dirty very easily, so if you're a clean freak you might have some problems. I have also heard that the K70 likes to collect dust on the brushed aluminum, again, if you're a clean freak this is a problem, if you're not, then you are OK.
  2. I have the msi GE70 2pe Apache pro. I bought it in 2014. I believe it was early 2014 so like January or maybe March.
  3. Thank you! Yes, I will remember the microfiber!
  4. I am not sure! How could I find out the version?
  5. I would prefer it if I did not have to buy a converter, but I will look into converters further. Thanks! btw, any other suggestions?
  6. I had looked at this monitor, but then I was reading this (amazing) post, and found that the vg248qe was unable to accept a 1080p HDMI connection at over 60hz.
  7. Sorry about that! My budget is <$350. I would also like to add that 1080p would be just fine.
  8. Hello LTT forums! I am wanting to purchase an external monitor for my laptop. This laptop has an HDMI and VGA port, but I know that I will not want to use the VGA if I have the option of using HDMI so.... I need recommendations. I would like the monitor to be 24in, with 1ms response time and be capable of 100hz+ refresh rate over HDMI. It would also be nice if it had a height adjustment option! Thank you!
  9. The BenQ XL2430T has all of those ports(D-Sub, DVI-D Dual Link, HDMI, Display Port) and has a refresh rate of 144hz, and 1ms response. It's also 1980x1080. Can't say about the VESA mount though.
  10. Btw, this is the display that I was looking at: Asus VG248QE
  11. I am wanting to purchase an external monitor for my laptop. I had wanted to buy a monitor capable of 100hz, 120hz or 144hz at 1080p but I am not sure if I can.... I use my laptop primarily for gaming, programming, and school. My laptop has an HDMI port and a VGA port. I need to know if it is possible for HDMI to run 100+ hz. I am not sure if my HDMI is 1.4a or up, and I am not quite sure how to find out, so if that is required, please tell me how I can find out if it is 1.4a or up. I would also like some suggestions on monitors. Btw, if you need to know the exact specs, or anything else about my laptop, please tell me, I will be happy to provide you with any information! Thanks!
  12. The Kova White is so sick! I love it! But I must to say that the Kiro is also very nice. Its nice that the Kova isn't loaded with buttons, it seems like it has a good balance. I am also very happy to see an ambidextrous design on the Kiro. Very nice. Also! Thanks LMG team for setting up this epic giveaway! Very cool.
  13. It did amuse me lol! It started out as this innocent guy asking a simple question then turned into an AMD vs Intel brawl of doom.
