  1. But I could only estimate that the newer pro and s versions may be closer to an rx 460 but that's only speculation with no bases whatsoever.
  2. Usually they are good to go without any file formatting unless its second hand, then you may need to get rid of old files but that's still unlikely.
  3. This may sound very default but one drive but mainly due to the whole office 365 for 1 pc, 1 tablet and one phone if you get the 1tb 55.99/ year plan and the way their ecosystem is with windows 10 and on mobile makes it so easy to switch documents between the two and edit cloud documents while on pc (windows 10 has it integrated) and on mobile (as the office apps also have it integrated), only cloud storage method I use and I'd recommend it. But for the office apps, you can use other cloud storage methods such as google drive, so I wouldn't say it's the only option for sure.
  4. are you sure it's installed properly? have you used something like hardware monitor to see if the heat's spiking?
  5. yep, the k means it specifically can be overclockeed aka has an unlocked multiplier
  6. Also have that board and it is nice. Just to throw out another example https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00K8KPXUO/?tag=linustechti02-21
  7. MSI Mainboard Z170A SLI PLUS LGA1151 - one suggestion
  8. I'm ok with how they are now and wouldn't be too bothered with just display port connectors, but then I'm ok with using display port to dvi cables or display port to VGA adapters.
  9. Smart keyboards now, what's next? But this product hasn't won me over at all, I'm ok with my system for tracking notifications right now and don't spend all my time sat at the one computer, having something that functions like this on my phone but without the physical notification system would be much more helpful for me. But I can see the appeal this would have to some people.
  10. opps, bad habit of mine and i'm too lazy to fix that habbit, will be making that mistake with the titan pascal as well

  12. The g213 is a good keyboard, I've been using it for 3 months now and haven't had a problem. Would recommend.
  13. User reviews are usually mixed, I wouldn't pay much attention to them apart from glossing over them to see if there are any constant major issues.
  14. In my experience that isn't the case (I have one to test), we are talking 900p here
  15. Here's another setup based on a Singapore shop/website that currently totals up to a subtotal of 2,196 Singapore dollars and an estimated 2,206 Singapore dollars when you add delivery (this may change best on where you live and there are other options) CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 Processor (6M Cache, 3.30 GHz) ($325) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U9B ($99) Motherboard: Asus Z170-P D3 ($239) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Memory Kit - Black ($165) Storage: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB ($159) Storage: WD Se 3.5" 1TB 128MB Cache, 7200RPM ($138) Video Card: Palit GeForce GTX 1070 Super JetStream ($688) Case: SilverStone Precision Series PS08 ($59) Power Supply: Silverstone Strider Gold 750W 80 Plus Gold, Full Modular ($165) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 OEM ($159) Like the last post, this assumes no aesthetic preferences and that peripherals aren't included in the budget. **update** The reasoning for the WD Se drive was that the 1tb blue drive while cheaper, would increase the delivery cost therefore being more expensive.
  16. Here's a setup that assumes no aesthetic preferences, that peripherals aren't included and only uses Amazon's pricing scheme. 17. Does this budget include peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, headset/speakers and monitor? Also any aesthetic preferences?
  18. It's not wireless or under 50 dollars (it's 69.99 dollars) but it's a good keyboard and what I've been using for the past 3 months. The Logitech 213 Prodigy: Amazon link Logitech's website Plus you get the "spill-resistance" of a membrane keyboard.
  19. White/black (admitted noctua fans are an eyesore in terms of colour schemes)

  21. Wouldn't it almost always be bad timing to build a new pc if you think like that?
