I had a system with a 6700K paired with a 1080 and I ran into a CPU bottleneck when gaming so I recommend against this option.

You can ALWAYS upgrade the GPU, but I dont see it as nesessary since the machine is already quite good. To be honest I don't think it's time to upgrade anything. Save the money for the future instead.

Uptivuptiz reacted to Spotty in GPU running at 8x
The Ryzen 5 2400G only has 12 PCIe lanes. 8x for GPU and x4 for NVMe storage.
Running at x8 speed won't make any difference.

If you have problem that you have no IDE on board, then...

If your drive is dead then... sorry, but there is nothing you can do, unless you spend more money that is worth.

If you have a PC that still uses IDE cables and that can boot into it's own OS, then just plug this disk in and boot on the PC and drag the files to a USB drive or whatever else fits your needs.

In this case I'd recommend you buy a PWM fan hub for all the case fans. If you're running an AIO watercooler you should use the fan solution that it provides instead of the hub. Then just plug the hub into one of the case fan headers on the motherboard.

Not even minor architectural gains on the CPU from 8th to 9th gen (or frankly, since 4th gen) so this is a stupid idea. 9700k may have 8 cores, but it doesnt have hyperthreading so real world performance is still very similar. The use of solder under the heat spreader does help with thermals but still, the only upgrade even worth considering in the first place are the 9900k and unlocked variants.

Whether your actually need the i9 or if board is up to the task are other questions I need to ask.

What I'm wondering about is why you're looking for PCs on Aliexpress in the first place.

At that pricepoint I wouldn't trust the seller one bit. A 2080 Ti alone cost 1000$. Definetly a scam.

Usually the way I work around this is press quote on the person's post, in the 'new post' windows I click on the 'handle' on their post:

Press Ctrl+C and then just paste it in the post I am editing.

It's also a funny way to quote a post that was made just now, in an earlier made post of your own*
But this obviously will not work on mobile for example. Or maybe it will, never tried it.

So if it's not possible for the forum devs to implement, you can always kinda do it yourself.

    *Proof this works:
