By far the best VR headset for consumers is the Valve Index.

The only other thing I can think of for now is buying a cheap USB to 3.5mm jack adapter and test with that.

If you have a headset with a USB dongle try and use that. If there's interference in the motherboard there shouldn't be a problem with the headset that uses USB.

If you have a secondary PC on hand I'd recommend that you connect the SSD to that and format it with Diskpart. Follow this guide until step 7, then go to Disk Management and format the drive like you normally would.

Are these OC settings stable?
Uptivuptiz replied to jakeslayer9091's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
What I do to test if an OC is stable is downloading Cinebench R15 and then launching it, then going to File>Preferences and setting Minimum Test Duration to 600 seconds. Then I start the benchmark. If it crashes before the 600 seconds has passed I see it as not stable. -
Is this the primary storage device of your system? If not then you can try and format it.

Sounds to me like something is making interference on a hardware level. Has this issue been there ever since you bought the Aorus B450 Pro?

If its only assigning one IP per port, then using a router would fix the problem since it creates its own network and distrebutes IPs of its own. No need to rely on the dorm router to do that.

I recommend the ASUS Zephyrus G14.

Minitool Partition Wizard is a great tool for managing storage devices.

I think you should keep it as it is now. The 2 bottom fans will supply air to the GPU and the 2 front fans will transport air to the D15. Optimal setup in my mind.

Check the output on the screen. Trust me, I've made this mistake many times where I thought I had dead hardware, but I just forgot to change the output source on the monitor.
-
Ah I see. I'd recommend reading the instructions to make sure the process goes smoothly. I you need assistance with any of the steps please don't hesitate to ask

If you have your display connected with displayport that might be the issue. I've seen cases where the PC won't show the BIOS screen if the monitor is running with displayport. For optimal compatebility use VGA, but HDMI or DVI should also do fine to begin with.

As @Beerzerker stated above Furmark is a GPU killer. I'd recommend you use Heaven benchmark instead.

Banned for not knowing what pfp means.

It is possible to have multible installation ISOs on one USb drive with something like MultibootUSB or YUMI, however I don't think making a USB to boot a fully fledged Windows OS is possible.

What are the safe temps for my PC?
Uptivuptiz replied to EClinus1999's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
My general rule of thumb is anything below 100 C when under load is safe. -
Those commands use a tool built into Windows. They do not require the hacktool so go ahead and delete it. Also the article shows you how to activate Windows with codes that you yourself havent purchased. This forum doesn't condone piracy so I'd suggest that you just purchase a key for yourself.

I've never heard of activating Windows in CMD. I'm pretty sure he uses CMD to call commands to the hacktool. The proper way to activate windows is through Settings.

Need help identifying system fan headers
Uptivuptiz replied to Cloaked's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
The top one is CPU2/Waterpump header and the bottom one is CPU1 header. Found this in the manual.
