  1. As it states in the original post, the laptop cannot be more than 14" in size so the 15" option is a no go. I do agree it's good laptop though.
  2. Yea I know, but I was asking for what the specs of the machine is and what motherboard you swapped with.
  3. What components is in your PC now and what was in it before?
  4. It's not gonna be the new one though. He hates the butterfly keyboard. And I don't think he wants the 2012 Macbook Air.
  5. Don't really know. What I would guess the reason is because he had a HP but it just broke down after a year, so I think he's looking for something that's gonna last.
  6. Hi. My brother asked me to find a new laptop for him that he's gonna use for school, but since I'm not really familiar with the subject I was hoping i could get some recommendations. The only 2 requirements is: It must be 13" or 14". Batterylife must be great. He hasn't really given me a budget so I'm just looking for general options. Sidenote: I was looking at the LG Gram series, but they dont sell that with the scandinavian keyboard layout so that's a no go.
  7. The build seems fine. The 750W PSU is a bit overkill though. A 650W unit is plenty. What components are you upgrading from?
  8. The problem could lie in the Unifi USG. Since it's a firewall it might be blocking some stuff it's not supposed to. The only weird thing is that android works (kinda).
  9. The 9700K is a bit overkill for a 1060. Get something like the i5 9600 is you want to stick with intel or the 3600 for AMD.
  10. No. The clasp should be very tight and not able to move. When installing the cooler the clasp should flip from left to right. A lot of force is required.
  11. To me it looks like the CPU cooler hasn't been tightened with the clasps. Although I could be wrong. The image provided get a bit blurry when zooming.
  12. That is the USB 3.0 variant of USB micro B.
  13. Oh I see your reason for confusion. ASUS should really update thier product pages The 2070 is compatible as it uses the same PCIe 3.0 16X standart as the motherboard. Generally all PCIe devices and slots will work together. But of course there are physical limitations like not being able to fit a GPU into a 4X slot.
  14. Try and verify the game files, then when gaming monitor the CPU and GPU usage using something like MSI Afterburner.
  15.
