That sounds quite hot, that said, I have never used one. @iamdarkyoshi fucked around with one a couple of weeks ago, so he'd know if that sounds alright or not.

Shadow5679 reacted to Pendragon in Surface Book Temperatures
that makes no sense. so running chrome jacks it up to 70c but gaming only puts it up to 80c?

Shadow5679 reacted to dalekphalm in My nerdyness VS GF
They are. But when you bottom out the key, it's the same loudness (more or less), regardless of which Switch Type you use (Brown, Blue, Red, whatever).
They are "quieter" because there's no audible "click" when the switch actuates. The actuation is silent. So in theory, if you train yourself to stop pushing down on the key after it actuates, you can depress the key without bottoming it out. However, most people (myself included) just bottom that motherfucker out like it owes me money.

Shadow5679 reacted to AniJan in Irresponsible?
Well, grammar is important in life.
I don't want to make bad grammar a habit. Because in the end, it'll make me look stupid.
It can also affect my job interviews in the future because, well, who would hire someone who doesn't know even the basic structures of grammar?

Shadow5679 reacted to ShadowCaptain in Format of a Graphic
not necessarily, very descriptive writing can paint a picture in the readers mind just as well as any drawing / photo, sometimes more

Shadow5679 reacted to Unhelpful in Teen hit by car playing pokemon go. Parent Blames the game
Guys... Her being dumb and not paying attention doesn't mean you should bash her. She probably knows better than any of us how fucking stupid it was.
Seriously, I'm getting sick of all the "hurr durr Darwin" stuff. People need to pay more attention, we get it already. That doesn't make them literally fucking retarded or mean that they deserve to get hurt.

kind of ran out of money....
best to look into the used market I think, 300 AUD is just not enough money at all, heck even a super basic pentium processor is $100 AUD

Shadow5679 got a reaction from ShadowCaptain in anyone got any idea on a $300 AUD gaming pc
I got up to $300 and then had a realisation... You don't really need a power supply or case, do you?
And thus was created my ultimate system, which has a $30 graphics card.

Shadow5679 reacted to ShadowCaptain in CSGO Youtubers promote CSGO gambling website without disclosure
Shilling is ILLEGAL
A Casino boss cannot rig games in his casino so he wins and then film a video going "wow gambling here is so great, i just found this casino an i win so much" - when he is the owner and rigged the video to win
the fact its accessible to kids is just the final nail in the coffin

Shadow5679 reacted to HKZeroFive in GTX 1060 leak (TAKE WITH A TRUCKLOAD OF SALT)
Ah, classic marketing tactics in the third slide. Making the GTX 1060 look two times faster visually when it's allegedly only 15% more powerful.
At this stage, I don't see the GTX 1060 being slower than the RX 480 and more inclined to say it's faster with much better energy efficiency. The crucial bit here is the pricing.
