I finally want to build my own PC. Until now I used an old Thinkpad which got very laggy and slow.
I don't want to buy an external GPU just because of how expensive they are and I'm really only playing very occasionally.
Primarily I'm programming in Visual Studio or the Jetbrain IDE's and sometimes I edit Photos or Videos. I'm only playing light esport games and if they run consistently above 30fps I'm content.
The advantage that I see in the 2400G is that your are able to connect up to 3 monitors to the motherboard which is to my knowledge not possible in the cheaper Z370 boards and of course the much better GPU performance.
On the other hand the 8400 offers more CPU performance and has better Linux support (which I'm thinking about Dual Booting with Windows).
If you know any other advantages/disadvantages to help me decide between the two cpus please let me know.
