  1. Hey All, I tried installing an optical drive into my computer: CPU: i7-770K CPU Cooler: Corsair - H115i 104.65 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Asus Mobo: Asus - Z170-DELUXE ATX LGA1151 Motherboard RAM: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory GPU: NVIDIA - GeForce GTX 1080 8 GB Founders Edition Video Card Power Supply: Corsair - 1000 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply I plugged in the SATA data connection into an open SATA port that is named SATA Express. Once I boot the machine it brought me to the login page and quickly started to restart. The computer lopped this a couple of time and I decided to hard turn off the computer. I tried unplugging the SATA connection for the optical drive but accidentally unplugged a SATA connection labeled OS drive. If I remember correctly my OS is no longer on that specific drive. I currently I have my OS on an M.2 drive. After this the computer booted into a blue screen of death and it restarted itself. It's lopped in and out of the blue screen with different errors. I have no idea what I should do to diagnose the issue. Thank you in advance for taking the time to help.
  2. Hey All,I have several DVDs and Blu-Ray movies that I don't use much anymore. Mainly due to the fact that I don't have an optical drive and it's pretty inconvenient.I've done research and I heard handbrake is able to copy the media from DVDs/Blu-Ray. The video I watched is linked at the bottom.I have empty bays in my computer case and I thought why not.I just don't know which optical drive is best. Any suggestions? Here is my case: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/8bbp99/nzxt-case-caph820w1Here is my motherboard: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/3XvZxr/asus-motherboard-z170deluxeI'm running Windows 10.Thank you in advance!

  5. Hey, everyone. I have an old mac a brand new mac and a random windows laptop. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to remote control one computer without using software that needs to be installed. My specific request would be me somewhere in my house and my other mac turned on could I some how just shut it off? Thanks!
  6. Perfect! Thanks for your help!
  7. Mind explaining why? Sorry, just like learning what others see.
  8. Okay this is the answer I needed! Thank you and everyone else who helped!
  9. I don't know, me being me. Do you have a recommendation for me? Or am I doing something wrong?
  10. Just to make sure. I should buy the CPU and use this BIOS flashback? Which I have never done. And it should fix any issues I have.
  11. I have the motherboard that is in the build. Is there any way I would know what the BIOS is before having a CPU in there?
  12. Hey trying to build this new PC. I have a lot of the parts. One of the parts I'm missing is the CPU and I just got this error from PCPartPicker. I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter but I would like the opinion of someone more knowledgeable than me. Here is the build:https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MRWFqk Here is the screenshot in case the link didn't show it. Thanks ahead of time.
  13. This might be too late to ask this but... I wanted to use this functionally for PC gaming. Bare with me. I wanted to see if I could use this in order to bind several keys in counter strike. As of now, people bind several keys on their keyboards to say a phrase. Typically written out like so : bind K "say I'm leaving you behind." I was wondering if there was a way to use this method to bind more keys to more phrase. Or if counter strike just wouldn't be able to see the other keys as "other" keys. Thaks for the help!
  14. I built my computer from scratch. I have windows 10 on it. Now this is the dumb question. How do I get Bluetooth on it. Do I have to buy some type of hardware? Is it a setting that I haven't looked into? Thanks for the help Heres my part list by the way: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/MrPerezOP/saved/qgjgXL
