Apart from Google hardware being trash, gotta say I'm pretty impressed with their commitment to 7 years of update... even if it should have been a thing from the begining with the G1 SoC (going to be benevolent and give them a pass on every other phone that came with a Snapdragon because of Qualcomm shit attitude at supporting their older chips).
Having said that, wouldn't give Google my money even if they claimed a decade of support. A company with a history of canning everything at a whims notice, shouldn't be trusted to begin with.

You guys in US of A have it especially bad because it's the stupid carriers who are dictating the updating policies and that's so sucky I can't describe it. I'm always on unlocked phones here in Europe so it's always manufacturers policy and releases, not when some clueless service provider feels like it. But it's still bad with pretty much everyone but Apple. Had both phone and smartwatch from them and when update was announced anywhere online, I checked for update and it was always there for 4 straight years every single time. Apple may do dumb things, but that's really impressive way to deliver stuff to users. Opposed to endless comment sections of people asking when they are getting updates literally every single time for any other vendor to a point it has basically become a meme.

Also additional information to this, Microsoft has already discontinued the usage of the dedicated Volume License Service Center website for managing licenses, acquiring product downloads etc and moved that to Microsoft 365 Admin Center

TechTechPotato's video on Meteor Lake is very good to get an understanding of the archecture and chips/tiles being used and what is in them. Lots of details and things many would not expect, I won't spoil it as it's best to just hear it from the source itself.

This feels like an America-only issue because for the rest of the world, nobody cares about green/blue text bubbles as if the ones in green are second class citizens because most of us use third-party chatting apps that are cross platform such as Whatsapp, Telegram, and Signal.

A17 Pro's TDP seems to be 14W. Also the iPhone 15 Plus has way better battery life than the 15 Pro Max. Which probably means that the 60Hz 15+ is a better buy if you care about battery life compared to the 120Hz variable refresh rate A17 Pro 15 Pro Max.
