Are Ryzen desktop APUs now for sale? Can’t find them on their website.

I think it was just for mobile/integrated APUs they were releasing, I'm not sure when they planned desktop APUs.

Yeah don’t think they are for desktops.

Why even get an APU? Maybe for a home theater PC I guess.

fuck I wish Apple would update the MacMini.

I want macs next year to have APUs instead, I mean you're getting like almost 5th or 6th gen Intel ULV core performance and graphical performance of a MX150 (Mobile GT 1030) all in one chip.

Apple’s only issue with that would be Thunderbolt Licensing and integrating a quality controller into the machines.

Apple would gladly take AMDs business and AMD would gladly undercut Intel.

It comes down to making macOS “just work™️“ on an AMD system and the Thunderbolt implementation.

I have a love/hate relationship with Apple. It’s been 3 years since the last Mac mini refresh.

Why I’m looking for a Ryzen APU for the desktop? It’s a good debugging tool when your graphics card is going haywire or for HTPC. I think it’s good to have other choices than Intel especially for small businesses with five employees or for older people who just want to browse Facebook or YouTube. I’m pretty sure AMD can outperform Intel in integrated graphics.

Thunderbolt is a joint collaboration between Intel and Apple. I read somewhere that soon, Thunderbolt will be open sourced.

Intel does jack to improve graphics. AMD always kicked Intel ass for integrated graphics performance.

I mean sure if the GPU fails you have the integrated backup but you see, why can’t computers just not break? xD
