I personally never understood the appeal of Wish.com, eBay and AliExpress are both more trust worthy and cheaper (and I'm aware there are scams on all platforms).

    KFC Wings

4/10 honestly. They don't come with sides (with a side and a drink, a 6pc of wings here costs like $9) and the wings themselves are mediocre. It's like eating the popcorn chicken but with bones. Just not worth the money, although it's not bad.

What a coincidence, I was just thinking about making a guide on the plague of the blue light scam the other day but now CBC has investigated it formally:

I'd advise everyone watch this as this is a tech forum and this scam generally targets people who use a lot of technology.  A TL;DR of the findings though is this:
There is no evidence that blue light causes harm to our eyes, despite what these stores will try to tell you There is plenty of blue light in nature anyway, and people have been exposed to it for thousands of years.  The small amount coming from our devices is nothing compared to these natural sources and is not creating an increased risk. Your devices have a built in way to reduce the blue light emission anyway if you are so inclined.  This is supported on Windows 10, iOS, Android, several DEs on Linux, and I'd assume MacOS as well. Blue light does interfere with your sleep and you may want to reduce it for that reason, but this is selective and not something to do throughout the day.  This is not new knowledge at this point though, and is a separate issue to the spiel about damage.

As for the difference in impact force, the muzzle energy of an AK-47 is somewhere in the ~2 kJ range from what I can find.  That just happens to be basically the same as a ~10 cm diameter steel ball thrown at the speed of a strong but not professionally trained adult man.

Why are so many people making a big deal out of this?  Have you never seen actual bulletproof glass before?  It's not indestructible - it still breaks, it just holds together once that's happened.  This did its job, and it's likely only going to improve anyway.

To all college/grad school students who want to save money in their phone bill, instead of getting a two-year contract with a bundled device, pick the service/SIM-only postpaid plan without device and simply buy a phone you can afford.

Chances are, picking a service only plan has way more data than a two year contract with device and it allows you to switch phones whenever you want, not when you’re told. Just because it’s the newest phone doesn’t mean you should have it, especially when you can’t afford it.

So recently I've been having some Wi-fi Issues (yes I use wi-fi, my router is far away and the house doesnt have pre run Ethernet) but not the typical "oh its a weak signal" (RT-AC68 make sure it's not) but rather the fact that my Wi-Fi just suddenly disconnects, just my PC though. After fiddling with the stupid wires on both the antenna and the wi-fi adapter itself a few times, I would end up restart my computer, which would fix the issue for anywhere from 2 minutes to 24 hours.... So I tried updating the drivers using Windows 10 (hey, I was lazy) and that also fixed it for about 24 hours...

Tonight I had my Wi-Fi card disconnect, and simply stop recognizing ANY wireless signals instead of having a minimal connection with one and still being able to recognize many of them. This time, I went into Driver Manager, and found the Wi-Fi card, specifically set the property of the device and BOOM everything came back...

Any bets on how long this lasts? so far its' been three hours without issue.....
