Makes me wonder how would Intel react if next year or this year Apple did their "one more thing" and dropped a Ryzen powered MacBook Pro? Microsoft did it with their 15" Surface, I'm sure Apple has working prototypes deep down their labs.

    I would hope AMD refuses to sell to Apple, because the quality of their laptops is bad, and they'll only make prices go up (they'll reserve a lot of production and get priority if they pay well) ... they'll be in even more limited stock.

     

    Anyway, such decisions are often done 6 months to a year or so in advance, so if they decide today you wouldn't see a machine until next year anyway.
