Am I the only one who thinks that a gun ban doesn't solve mass shootings just like imposing huge taxes on tobacco and alcoholic beverages doesn't reduce addiction? I think we should ask ourselves, why do people carry guns in the first place? I'm not particularly pro-guns and I'm not against it either but even with the strictest gun ban, if a person has the incentive to do harm on others, they'll just resort to other objects and they'll always find a way to do it.

But then, I'm probably getting way to idealistic but what do I know? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  1. PlayStation 2

    PlayStation 2

It doesn't solve mass shootings or much criminal activity in the slightest.

If a criminal wants to commit a crime, they're going to do it regardless if a ban on guns is in place.

Not to mention that some people fly under the radar and don't commit any kind of violent crime before going on their rampage that they don't throw up any red flags when making purchases of any weapon.

There is no way these people can be found until they snap which is what sounds like last nights scenario in Las Vegas was.
