  1. That's why my theory is that there is some program or something making it think it is that high while in games because everything I have seen about the computer says I doesn't get that hot unless under like full coy load for half an hour.
  2. I understand that it usually jumps around 10 or so when you launch but it shouldn't jump like 30 and then stay there when the cpu is at like 15% to 20% usage. I may try undervolting but I'm not sure it's accurately reading the cpu temp because it doesn't feel hot and then when I turn off game within a few seconds it back down to like 60.
  3. I've had the laptop for about a week. Not due to age. I think it may be due to a faulty program or sensor because the temps don't seem right.
  4. Well I get that but it shouldn't stay at 90 and the 30° bump shouldn't be that severe especially with what I have heard about gs65s in the past and while doing research.
  5. I'm saying it is practically instantaneous, it happens in every game even in csgo when cpu usage is at like 15%
  6. What does that mean? Is there a way to fix it?
  7. I just recently got a gs65 and it seems to be reading so I temperatures normally but when I launch a game, in a less than a second the temperature spikes. Sometimes going from normal workloads to gaming it can go from around 60° to 90° and back down once I exit in less than a second. I know it's not actually that hot because the computer doesn't feel hot and temperatures don't change that quickly. I'm only worried about it because it seems to throttle my coy and make the fans run really high. I was wondering if anybody else had this problem and if they new how to fix it. Thanks!

  9. I have both a 1500x and a 1600 right now. I can either return the 1600 which I bought yesterday for trouble shooting or try and sell 1500x on Craigslist or somewhere. Which one should I keep? I do video editing and some other coy intensive stuff just wondering if it's worth the extra $50 or so
  10. Ok thanks I'll try figuring out again thanks for the advice though
  11. No they are both new parts. I had a fx 6300 before
  12. I have done that and it still isn't booting and I have no beeper or visual thing on the mobo
  13. It has a jumper pin but I didn't realize you had to wait up to 10 minutes so I an doing that currently
