Hi everyone, today I went to switch my laptop on, it powers on but the screen is black, the hard drive doesn't boot, I searched online and a post on a forum said to remove the hard drive and reseat it which I have done, still won't boot, another post said to reseat the memory which I've done, still won't boot, for a while now when I've been using the laptop the fan remained on all the time, does this mean the motherboard has possibly failed?

Hi, I have a spare PC in my cupboard, nothing special on the specs, I'm wondering if it can be turned into a headless torrent seedbox so I can give back to the linux community by sharing distribution isos, I understand a bit about the command line so I'm not afraid to use it, ideally I'd like the setup to be headless with a web user interface for remote management and a single user account for myself, thank you very much in advance to anyone who replies.

Nintendo's share price is on the up recently with mobile, would there be enough demand from gamers if Nintendo went the SEGA route and became a publisher on PC? I know the chances of Nintendo on PC are slim.

What I mean by "could Nintendo win the console race" is the following, as we know the NES was released way back in the 1980's era, throughout the years they've seen off many different consoles, too many to list, fast forward to the present day and it's one of three left on the market with a dedicated console, XBOX recently announced the Play Anywhere and in turn killed off the need to have to own an XBOX One (that's my opinion), so thinking about it if most of the AAA games are on PC the only thing gamers need is a PC + a Nintendo console (if they want Nintendo titles) and gamers have almost everything needed, so really there isn't any need for a PS4, or maybe I'm missing something, but Nintendo helped to restart an industry and could very well be the last player left.
