  1. All ways check multiply reviews especially comparisons as you can get a better idea. the problem here is you can get great advice but many people post based on personal taste or on units we've used ourselves, there isnt anything wrong with that but i would just use this as a guide to what video reviews to look at. So as your doing look at those video's.
  2. No the comfort is fine.
  3. i have m50's myself and feel they produce a great sound for the money. check out the various YouTube video reviews on them.
  4. I'll stick with my m50s for now but they look great for a later time.
  5. Fair enough and i did look at the FAQ, but i will say these headphones are definitely better than other headphones I'v listened to. especially gaming headsets.
  6. well said and i agree with your comments, the only thing i found the m50's sound incredible with my Xonar Essence STX, granted i had to set the impedance level to low impedance but the quality of the headphones do show through.
  7. ok what is wrong? enlighten me useing a external Dac instead of a internal soundcard Again enlighten me instead of flaming me.
  8. For a internal ASUS Xonar Essence STX the only problem there it is 2 channel not 5.1, but arguably the best internal sound card for the money. Or you can go for an external Dac, but personally i would invest in some nice headphones to go with them like Audio-Technica ATH-M50 then you'll really enjoy the sound. i run ASUS Xonar Essence STX with Audio-Technica ATH-M50 and the sound is very impressive. But if you have a good Motherboard with good onboard sound sound, which most of the current gaming motherboards will have. then go for good headphones or speakers first. no for the money they sound ok, and yes they will sound better with the right sound Dac, granted not as good as if he had better hardware. Me i use headphones mainly as i said above, but for external i only use the 2.1 version of the opps speakers and the sound card did improve the sound quite a bit. granted I'm in the market for better hardware myself but for now. my setup will do.
  9. Does it shut down or does it just power strait off without a shutdown?
  10. hi guys ive put in a application for LTT myself. I had pledged a good while ago now, and went for a 325a. And I've have been a member of linus's youtube channels for a while and this forum. So it was a natural progression id say. B)
  11. The quadro has the monitor attached and the geforce on its own for its cuda core power, not in sli. similar to having a stand alone physx card. But you could run a sli settup next to the quadro id think.
  12. I remember when amd were far quicker than Intel for games, back in the k6 era, i left intel at that time. been back on intel for my last 2 upgrades. would love to see amd back in front to push the technology further. nothing like good competion to get better gaming systems. ;)
  13. heres two possibilities useing WoodenMarker settup as a bases. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/fenix67/saved/1HZw http://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/fenix67/saved/1HZy Just add 150 for a corsair c90 case
