sidewinder2's Achievements

  1. The Noctua NH-D15 is 165mm tall, and the Fortis 3 HE1425 is 158mm tall, so you should be fine in that dimension since you know the NH-D15 will fit. Only question is if it will fit around your ram/mobo heatsinks. Since it is asymmetrical, it should fit with most ram modules. Take a look at the pictures in the second link below. The other thing to consider is that it looks like there is only 140mm of clearance if there is a fan installed on the side panel of your case, so just keep that in mind. I'd recomend going to pcpartpicker.com and seeing if there are any completed builds with your system's specs and a HE1425 cooler. 2. I don't believe so. According to NZXT, the max clearance (height) for a cpu cooler is 161mm. The Cooler Master V8 GTS is 166.5mm tall. The V8 wasn't listed because pcpartpicker will filter out coolers that are not compatible with your setup. At the top of the filters, there is a checkbox to enable/disable the compatibility filter. As for the ram, I'm not sure if pcpartpicker filters out cpu coolers for ram clearance. I'd just build it with the stock cooler, measure it to see what clearance you have to play with, then find a cpu cooler that will work. That's what I did with the same case. Stock cooler will be fine unless you overclock and don't mind the noise for a while. You can also look to see if there are other completed builds on pcpartpicker with the same motherboard, ram, and case. Then see what cpu cooler they used. 3. The Autore keyboard is my favorite because of it's simplistic yet eye-catching design.
  4. Differences between the various hard drive formats (NTFS, FAT, FAT32, exFAT...etc). I was surprised to not find this in a previous suggestion, but I may have missed it.
