Strange feeling, but the build is actually done.
    Scary, very scary, but done. So many my first;
    First modding project
    First water cooling project
    First photo project
    First time sleeving
First time working with acrylic or vinyl
    and much more.
I spent most of the morning frenetically turning nobs on my new studio flash and cursing the to narrow backdrop. Ended up with some images that actually worked. Point of no return.

Hope you like the end result and as always, feel free to comment or ask questions if there is anything you want to know more about.
Thank you everyone that supported me me in this thread with engagement, help and comments and of course, a huge thank you to be quiet! that decided to sponsor this project half way in.

Didn’t really follow which are and aren’t custom. If they aren’t, they won’t be any better than fe. Would just come down to price and warranty. I believe evga still carries the best as far as putting a block on it.

Not many other games meet the same level of storytelling. I personally got a Witcher 3 feeling playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but I've only played for 2 hours.

Zandvliet got a reaction from ArachneNet in Living/Studying in the Netherlands?
Hi, I'm Dutch and recently graduated so I'll try to give somewhat of an impression. I haven't studied in Delft myself, but in Groningen. One of the first things you must know about living in the Netherlands for international students is that it's really hard to find an accommodation. All cities having universities are having difficulties with accommodations for students and international ones in particular. As an example, I've heard that employees of the University of Groningen were asked if they could house international students for a while because there is a massive shortage. Plus, if you do find one expect to pay a high price as people will charge a lot. I'd say around 300-400 euro's a month for a 10-15m2 room is considered normal/cheap, depending on the house and location, I'm not sure about prices in Delft. Also be carefull when looking for an accommodation, there are various websites that are made for scamming you. You have to pay, say 1000 euros upfront, and when you arrive there isn't a room. Websites that are good are; https://kamernet.nl/, https://www.funda.nl/.
It will help a lot if you already know someone in Delft who can help you.

That being said. The things you list are all true. You will get a bike and you'll find out the people can be blunt. Transport in cities having universities is great and also the intercity transport is good, though expensive (not sure about discounts for international students, you should look into that). I'd say it's not important for you to learn Dutch beforehand. As you say, almost all people in the Netherlands speak English and the study itself will of course be in English. Some German words are very similair to Dutch words, though. From what I've heard Delft is a nice place to study. I'd recommend finding a study/sport association which is a great way to connect to other students.

Carpets will increase the amount of dust in a house. Also, do you have any dust filters on your system? Might be because you need your house itself more often and more thoroughly. Other than that, there isn't much you can do about dust in your house.

Zandvliet got a reaction from PrimeSonic in Why it is stupid af to buy RTX cards now.
Everyone keeps saying do not buy... but it really depends on the situation. Yes, if you have 10 series, don't upgrade to RTX, not worth it imo. But, I currently have a 970 which is showing signs of retirement and am therefore looking to get the 2080. The price difference between the 2080 FE and the lowest priced 1080ti is about 100 euro for me, which are the 'lowest end' of the 1080ti bunch. On average the price difference is 50 euro in favor of a 1080ti. That price difference is worth it to me to get he lastest gen. As an example, the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING ICX is ~150 euro more than the 2080.

Plus, I do believe that drivers will help improve the performance of RTX cards in general gaming. RT might be neat but it will take a while before it becomes mainstream (if at all). I won't be buying it for RT, the amount of compute power is a pro for me aswell over a 1080ti.

This, and I think Nvidia even took it a step further and actually intended the 2080ti being the Titan, 2080 being the 1080ti and 2070 being the 1080. Which would explain the higher price for the current gen.
