Hi all, I'm thinking about getting the Netgear Nighthawk X4S R7800 for 165 euros and was wondering if this is still a good deal even though the router is about 2 years old. Are there any better ones for this price range? Cheers.

I also have a question about this. I'm looking at the Samsung UE43NU7190 which according to https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/5a511342 has HDMI 2.0 not 2.0a or 2.0b. But the samsung websites say the TV has HDR 10+ and HDR. What's the story there? EDIT: hmm just noticed that the 50UK6470PLC also has HDMI 2.0 according to https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/4910121f Maybe the information is just incorrect..?

Have you tried reinstalling the games? Are you playing via steam or directly from Ubisoft/EA? Any other games you have the problem with? You could try and reinstall Windows alltogether...

There aren't reports detailing the same problems with the 2080 correct? I have a 2080 and haven't had any problems so far.

Reinstall chrome? Also how many tabs are open when stuttering starts?

Same goes for me. I think it's really cool but it's at a too early stage at the moment. I do have a RTX 2080, but I didn't get it for the RT.

Hi all, Sorry if this is already posted somewhere, but I coulnd't find it. Apparently some first benchmarks of Battlefield V with RTX has been posted by TechPowerUp. It is as we have feared, the performance decrease is pretty dramatic. Hopefully this will be improved in the further with updates but I believe that RT is just too early at the moment. Apprarently there are 4 different settings one can enable but when actually looking at the benchmark results there isn't much of a difference between ultra, high and medium. I would definitely think that this can be improved via updates but time will tell... Note that the drivers (probably/hopefully) aren't working correctly at the moment. Just upgraded from a 970 to a 2080 two weeks ago. I have it combined with a 7700k which I might upgrade for Zen2 depending on Intel and performance. Storage-wise I'm still good, I am thinking about getting another M.2. I'll probably buy an ultrawide this December, looking at the ASUS ProArt PA34V, LG 34GK950G-B or Dell AW3418DW.

Weird that you get the same fps for low and ultra settings. I was able to play it with 4-5k guests on 7700k and 970 medium settings and got about 20-30 fps. Game is definitely CPU heavy.

My youtube dark theme still resets every new browser session. I though this was fixed or it is still a trial? Also, in file explorer I believed one could also use the dark theme now? But it doesn't seem to work for me.

New update! The GPU just fits in the case with the PSU. The clearance was about 2-3mm. Unfortuantly the EK backplate is longer than the PCB, which meant I had to move the PSU by a couple of millimeters to the front of the case. Which luckely wasn't that bad. Next up was putting the EK waterblock onto the GPU. It was fun to do so again, it's been almost 3 years since I put one on. With some background music it took about 30 minutes. Mounting the GPU in the case was also somewhat troublesome. I forgot that the allignment of the back I/O and the PCIe extension slot isn't correct. I guess it is a manufacturing error, which resulted into me having to tap two extra holes on the bracket holding the PCIe extension. On the picture below one can see that the backplate is longer than the PCB of circa 8mm. This is due to the fact (I guess) that the EK waterblock also includes a plastic bracket at the back which can be taken off. Cheers!
