I'm paying more attention to his note about incoming staff lightening the load for current staff to work on passion projects. I don't think Linus wants ideas from too many non-LTT folks rn (that's just my two cents) I think he wants to empower his staff to make content in a more exploratory manner... specifically what they're passionate about. LTT has energetic, intelligent, driven staff. I think Linus is realizing his staff's passions were the absolute best content he could produce. And he just has to let them do more of their own thing while still being "Linus Tech Tips" of yesteryear... very achievable with multiple synergistic channels. To be real, I think if he does that it will reinvigorate LTT and possibly redefine it entirely.

I went to a D1 school that wins national championships. I can name drop all pro first round draft picks that are still playing after 7 years. My cousin put herself through a no name school in Missouri with a field hockey scholarship. Not to be hostile dude but I have personal relationships with some of these people.

It's not. It's the intention. I like to simulate being a goat. I don't like to simulate farming. I like to simulate football. Simulating football doesn't require a story-line about a kid failing a test and not being able to play in a game. If it's your thing and you like to see that, do your thing. Facts. That's also super uncool. I guess the real answer is corruption will always be part of juicy sports games.

I hear you. My biggest problem is that this is obviously a toolkit to cut a corner of the problem that we finally realized years ago: capitalizing on student athletes and the struggles they endure to put themselves through school is wrong. EA know it, and I don't think they'll ever touch it again with a 10 foot pole. Now we just have sleazy attempts to make college games. And the problem is still there. That's my take anyway.

I don't know this dude. No disrespect to him. But these people didn't ask to be a spectical. And using smoke in mirrors to disguise collegiate branding when all you're trying to do at the end of the day is make a buck... Sorry this triggers me.

Hi all. Trying to understand the cause of this weird rapid clicking sound I hear when I listen to bass-heavy songs on my phone. I assumed it was too much bass for my headphones, but I can make the volume higher on my ODAC/Objective 2 with the same song and it's perfectly clear. Using an iphone 6s.

If that's their business model then that's stupid, not just because of the dishonesty though. If you're going to try to fool people about products you're selling them, don't pick tech enthusiasts.
