  1. I could hear a slight gurgle, but I figured that was down to the fact that it was my tech-illiterate dad stored it with the radiator below the block. I put it the right way up for around 2 hours before I fired it up to make sure there was no air bubbles, but it just sounded like air in the loop.
  2. The cooler is about 5 years old (it was running fine, if a little toasty before I stored it in February), and it's been sat since mid February until today
  3. My PC has been in storage for a while, and I've just got it back. I took it apart to make sure nothing was damage and that everything was seated correctly, and all seems fine. I replaced the thermal paste on my AIO, reassembled everything, and now my CPU immediately overheats to around 85-90°C, leading to an overheat error on POST. As I said, I've reseated the AIO and replaced the thermal paste, as well as resetting the BIOS to default settings (except setting the CPU fan to ignore the RPM because it's running an AIO pump, which I can feel working when I put the back of my hand to the block) but that doesn't seem to have done anything. My specs are: i5-4690k Corsair H100i GTX AIO cooler 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 MSI GTX 1070 GAMING X Corsair CS750M PSU
  4. These are the two concepts I've come up with. One with the two large openings on the front is designed to replace the entire front panel, with a cutout for the I/0. Not 100% sure how I'm gonna secure it. The other is designed to fit the rear, and the with indentations to fit the rear thumbscrews. I'll upload images soon.
  5. Not a bad idea. I could use the panel thumbscrews to center it on the stand.
  6. Hey guys. My current system is based in a Thermaltake Core V21, which is able to switch side panels around for normal, horizontal and inverted layouts. I, however want another way. I want the case to stand on the rear i/o. It rarely moves, so that won't be an issue, and I have all my cables ready to go, along with a couple of USB hubs in case I need to add anything easily. Point is, I need to make some kind of stand to allow it to "stand" on the rear plate. Any ideas, please?
  7. Tbh, probably gonna go with one of the Ticwatch models. Just not sure which one.
  8. Planning to use it as a gadget, like I do my Pebble. Just looking for a viable replacement now that Pebble is no more.
  9. Thanks for the help, guys. I eventually got an MSI GAMING X GTX 1070 a few months ago.
  10. As the tile says, I'm looking for a replacement for my beaten up, 2-year-old Pebble Time. I want to stay within Android Wear, but don't want to spend more than £200 ($270 US).
  11. That's just it, I've overclocked it to a stable 4.7GHz with a H100i GTX, and it is struggling with a few newer games (AC: Origins, mainly), and I don't want to waste money on the 4790k if I have to replace it anyway sooner than the investment would warrant.
  12. True, but will the 4790k still hold its own for the next few years, or would it be worth a bit of "future-proofing" by upgrading the platform to something like Kaby Lake or Coffee Lake?
  13. Sorry should've been more specific. I don't really stream that often, and when I do I offload to another system. Never really edit video or anything like that, so an i7 or similar is overkill. Therefore, a complete new platform is basically my only option, if I do.
  14. My system is currently running an i5-4690k with 8gb of Corsair DDR3 RAM. Is it worth upgrading in the near future, or should I wait a year or so for another processor generation?
  15. Can't see any issues with that. Should be a decent build. Would love to see pics/benchmark results once it's built.
