  1. $678 AUD is a little high when I'm only earning $30 or $60 a week with my casual job. So I'll go with the current one.
  2. I'm partway through building a PC and this is how it looks so far GPU: gtx 970 PSU: Antec 500w CASE: Deepcool Tesseract and the parts I'm upgrading CPU: i3 2120 MOBO: AsRock HV1-whatever RAM: 6GB DDR3 I'm upgrading the motherboard, cpu and ram as they really hold my graphics card back. Is there any suggested changes to these: MOBO: ASRock Fatal1ty H170 (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33795/asrock-fatal1ty-h170-performance-motherboard) CPU: Intel Core i5 6500 (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33192/intel-core-i5-6500) RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2133C13 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 Black (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/32848/corsair-vengeance-lpx-cmk16gx4m2a2133c13-16gb-2x8gb-ddr4-black) Total cost is $533 AUD. I am not wanting to overclock, It is a semi-budget build to last me well into next year, and I dont want to lose heaps of performance for a few bucks. Thanks.
  3. So unless anyone tells me otherwise, this is what I'm getting https://www.pccasegear.com/wish_lists/584241
  4. If anyone is still replying to this would this RAM be good? https://www.pccasegear.com/products/32848/corsair-vengeance-lpx-cmk16gx4m2a2133c13-16gb-2x8gb-ddr4-black
  5. Only problem wiht those boards is they are 2133 Mhz boards while the ram is listed is 2666. Suggestions on other RAM? wanting 16gb minimum
  6. In a perfect world I want blue and black, but I dont really care that much, My keyboard is red and black while everything else is logitech blue and coal black Also the fatality board looks alright.
  7. Haha, no way, I bought it like before christmas last year, Im waiting for the 1080 to be aftermarket and not new.
  8. I was wanting to get the 6600 as I want this build to last me a while, I was hoping it would last me until early - mid 2017 when I would be getting a 1080. Also any suggestions for a H170 board?
  9. I was wanting to get a non K version because I need a new CPU cooler and dont think ill be overclocking, its not really worth it in my opinion.
  10. I am in the process of building a PC, so far I've gotten the Graphics Card (a gtx 970 windforce), Case (Deepcool Tesseract), PSU (antec 500w), hard drives and SSD (1TB across 4 and 250GB respectively). Now I need to buy a motherboard CPU and RAM to upgrade from my old sandy bridge CPU, mini atx ancient AsRock motherboard, and 6GBs of DDR3 RAM. What I am currently thinking of buying is this (Prices in AUD, I'm aussie, deal with it) Motherboard - MSI Z170M Mortar ($195 AUD) (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/35097/msi-z170m-mortar-motherboard) CPU - Intel Core i5 6600 ($315 AUD) (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33191/intel-core-i5-6600) RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2666C16W 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 ($105 AUD) (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/35444/corsair-vengeance-lpx-cmk16gx4m2a2666c16w-16gb-2x8gb-ddr4) Total Cost - $615 AUD, about $445 USD (did that with my brain so may be off by 3% either way). Is there any changes recommended to this build? I am not wanting to spend overly more than what I am currently, also I don't want to spend much less and get low end stuff. Links for other suggestions don't have to be Aussie, I can look it up myself. Thanks!
  11. I have been talking to my one tech savvy brother and have come to the conclusion that I can get a almost as good PC for $200 AUD less CPU - i5-6400 -$269 MBD - Gigabyte B150M-D3H-DDR3 $135 VDC – r7 – 360 $159 CASE – DeepCool Tesseract - $49 PSU – antec 500w already have will the PSU be good enough for the rest of the computer? *Prices in AUD*
  12. K, realised these prices are in USD. I still think I will go with the build mentioned above, although I am going to have to save up for a while, and get computer parts for christmas. Although everyone will be annoyed at me because I will cheap out on everyone. Meh I guess some things never change.
  13. Yeah, It's a bit more than I would want to spend but this is probably what I'll get. CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($163.99 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H87M-HD3 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($62.10 @ SuperBiiz) Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 380 4GB Nitro Video Card ($213.98 @ Newegg) Case: Deepcool TESSERACT BF ATX Mid Tower Case ($39.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 620W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($55.80 @ SuperBiiz) Although it means I am going to have to be that one person that has to either ask for money, or computer parts at Christmas. It's pretty hard to convince everyone in a family of 8, as well as cousins and 3 grandparents Also what currency are these prices in?
  14. This build does seem alright, although would the Sapphire Radeon R7 2GB be decent? It is half the price. Also that means I can get away with my current PSU probably.
