  1. Fellow Canadian here. I just wish it will properly reflect the CAD-USD cause I was very close to pulling the trigger on 38uc99 but at 1499 USD (1899 CAD) I would take Phil over LG's anytime.
  2. I need nice headset for gaming..
  3. I am running GTX 980 Ti at the moment. However I am in process of building a computer for my younger brother. If I ever win any card, I could use that card in his build and use the money that was allocated to GPU to somewhere else. Perhaps monitor?
  4. Pretty cool product. Given that it does not require huge distance actually get usable displaying size, usability of this product would be huge.
  5. Hello InitializingDev, Thank you so much for your reply. Samsung one has "VA" panel. ( Their own version due to patent issue.) I guess I will go with LG.
  6. Title says it all! I am wondering which would be better choice. I am intending to use one if these as a main monitor at the centre and use 29UM58-Ps on right and left side. I game, program and occasionally use Photoshop and Illustrator. Price-wise, in Canada, 34UC88 is 899.99 and S34E790C is 1099.99. Panel difference wise, I wouldnt mind both panel. Which one should I choose?
  7. Yeah we are talking about Canadian Rubles.. .( As what Linus refers CAD to.. lol ) I decided to just exchange MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6G to EVGA GTX 980 Ti FTW edition. I am just hoping EK to release full cover waterblock for this GPU.
  8. Thanks for the recommendation. The reason for not choosing Gigabyte was due to their lack of service/RMA center in Canada. After some research, I heard their service is not too good.. Thank you for the reply. Just to make sure, I am talking about this particular GPU ( http://www.ncix.com/detail/evga-geforce-gtx-980-ti-b2-125294.htm ) which is a collaboration of EVGA and EKWB so I am pretty sure it cools core and also the VRMs. And since they are factory equipped with GPU block, I wouldn't have to worry about voiding warranty on other cards. Let me know what do you think about this opinion
  9. Hello, I have MSI GTX 980 Ti that is having over heating issue. I have contacted the retailer that I bought and they were generous enough to let me exchange that card to either same model or completely different model from different brand. At first, I was thinking of going with EVGA GTX 980 Ti Hybrid since I would be able to over clock well with that card without having to worry about forcing the card. But then I always had a plan to go with custom liquid cooling in the future and thought of going with Hydro Copper. My question is which option would be better between EVGA GTX 980 Ti Hydro Copper and MSI GTX 980 Ti with EKWB block? I still have to pay for the difference if I do choose to exchange the card and overall cost of difference between two card and buying EKWB block is about the same. Any advice on this would be appreciated! Thanks.
  10. Hello Joseph, Would you be able to provide me simple comparison between all those models? I am considering adding water cooling system on my rig, but I am not sure if I should put AIO unit or custom cooling one.
  11. Thanks again! I guess I will get Red since I am also planning to build NAS. :)
  12. Haha makes much sense. Thanks for letting me know
  13. Thank you for the reply What exactly is MTBF?
  14. Thanks for the reply. Since I am replacing my WD Green drive which is 3TB, I am looking for 3TB or bigger. The reason why I was interested in WD Reds were because I am planning to build DIY NAS in the near future. What do you think? Let me know
  15. Thank you for the recommendation! I am just wondering, is the noise due to it being somewhat defected? ( Like what it says on the Crystal Disk Info? )
