  1. Hello everyone! I help out a friend of mine to get a gaming computer and I have made a youtube video about it! I hope you guys might enjoy it (even thou it's an amd processor) x) Tell me if there is anything I should improve to the next video, when ever I make one ^^
  2. thanks for the reply! He is the second owner of the system but its only 6 months old, I will tell him to contact corsair right away
  3. A friend of mine opened up his side panel to check out his sytem and saw that the rubber around the tubes on his Corsair H100i has started to crack. Is this a cosmetic damage or does the rubber around the tubes contribute to make a seal? we have taken out the cooler out of the system until we know for sure if there is a risk for leakage or not.
  4. So yesterday I posted a topic about how I'm really tiered of my old laptop and that it was time for a Serious Update! I listed the System Specs of the PC I was planing to build here on the LinusThechTips Forum and I got some really helpful tips on what could be done to improve the build for not much more money. So here is the updated list of the computer. B) -CPU: i5-4690K -MB: MSI Z97 GAMING 5 -RAM: HyperX Fury 2x4GB -GPU: MSI R9 390 -PSU: Corsair VS 650 The Computer is meant for 1080p Gaming and I want it to be "Future Resistant" Does it look alright? Thanks in Advanced!
  5. Thank you so much people!! This cleared up so many things for me. now I can finally get some sleep!
  6. Okay so I'm planing on building My first PC, It's suppose to be a Gaming/Music Production PC and its more of a Budget build I guess BUT I want to go with a R9 390 because of the 8GB o vram the reason being that I'm scared of what the future holds in terms of the sudden Vram requirements. And here is the Thing, I want to go with a FX-8350 because of the high amount of cores, threads and clock speed for a very nice price BUT When I tell people that I'm going with a FX-8350 they start screaming about Bottle necking and say that i should go with a i5-4690k. So I'm really confused and would like to know how: FX-8350 4.0GHz, 8-Core, 8 Threads, 8MB L2 + 8MB L3 Cache, 125W, IS a Bottleneck for the R9 390 i5-4690K 3.5GHz, 4-Core, 4 Threads, 6MB, 88W Is NOT a Bottleneck for the R9 390 I'm new to PC building I genuinely don't know how the i5 can be the better choice besides power consumption and temperatures. Also sense It's music production PC as well, I need the extra Cores/Threads.
  7. I've had it with my old laptop here at home and I thought that it's time to make a serious upgrade. So I decided that I'm gonna build myself a Gaming PC. But I have never had the chance to do something like that before so I have been seriously studying the last month on LinusTechTips, JayTwoCents and other various forums and such and here is the PC that I came up with. B) -CPU: AMD FX-6350 -MB: MSI 970 Gaming -RAM: HyperX Fury DDR3 2x4GB -GPU: MSI R9 390 -PSU: Corsair CX500m -CPU Cooler: Corsair H55 Hydro The PC i meant for 1080p gaming and music production and the few thoughts and questions I have is: - Is there any BIG difference between the AMD FX-6350 and 8350 Beside the 2 extra cores and threads? My wallet is gonna hurt as it is and there is a 60USD difference between the 6350 and 8350 here in sweden. - If i take this PC as it is how "Future Resistant" will it be? No need to to play every game on ultra but will it be relevant in 4-5 years? - Is the PSU enough for the system? Based on every PSU calculator i have found the system will draw 430ish from the wall BUT On the website it says that the GPU will need AT LEAST 500W So what am I missing!? Thank you in advanced!
