That's Disney's way of keeping people from bypassing region locks using a VPN. There may be VPNs that can trick the login servers but I haven't heard of any and Disney would likely be working to shut that method of access down.

Windows does see both DIMMs but for some reason it has hardware reserved 8.0GB of it (bottom item in the small text). Your issue isn't hardware, there's something in your BIOS or Windows which is reserving that memory.

Squirrel724 got a reaction from boggy77 in 3600Mhz Ram vs Over clocking 3200/3000
The DDR4 specifications include various standards for up to 3200MHz. What 3600+MHz DIMMs mean for you is that the DRAMs and layout of the DIMMs are designed and tested to work at those high frequencies.

What you are actually doing when applying an XMP profile to get to your RAM's listed speed of 3600+MHz is overclocking the memory controller to run at speeds higher than the DDR4 standard it was designed for.

Take for example my build. I'm running a R9 3900X with Corsair 3600MHz RAM. If you go to AMDs product page for the 3900x you will see that the memory controller in the processor is rated at 3200MHz meaning it is designed to meet the DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 standard, the fastest standard in the DDR4 specification. While Corsair has rated my DIMMs to run at speeds of 3600MHz my memory controller is being overclocked in order to reach those speeds. Where that line for overclocking is moves based on the processor in the system (for example an i9 9900k is only rated to DDR4-2666 PC4-21333) but anything past 3200MHz is an overclock as that's the fastest the standard goes.

You can only see so much on the visible spectrum. Planets, stars, nebulas, etc. all emit different forms and amounts of radiation on the radio spectum and you can learn a lot by studying this radiation, far more than you could ever hope to learn with an optical telescope. The scientists couldn't care less about looking for alien broadcasts.

Squirrel724 got a reaction from themctipers in Romer-G Switches or Cherry MX?
Romer-G's implementation of tactility is garbage. The way it just holds and then suddenly gives up just feels awful. The tactility of Cherry Browns is much better and simply provides a nice bump to indicate where the switch activates without causing the switch to collapse after the bump. Cherry Clears are even nicer with more tactility than the browns and after the bump the spring actually gets stiffer, actively preventing you from bottoming out.

I'm really glad I went for the clears. The tactility is great and my G710+ with browns now feels like it has linear switches in comparison.

FIRST Robotics was one of the best things I did back in High School. 4 years with Team 61 from 2011-2015. I have 3 second place medals hanging in my room. We came close several times but were never quite able to take a win while I was there. A bunch of financing BS with my school lead to the team shutting down after the 2015 season but it does appear that we are registered again for the 2018 Rhode Island District so maybe we have come out of retirement.

Its pretty cool to be one of the few teams who has competed under multiple numbers in their history. Before 1998 teams were assigned new numbers each year alphabetically by primary sponsor (for example my team was number 44 in 1997 before being assigned 61 in 1998). In 1998 numbers were assigned like previously but then they became permanent into the future. Very few teams get to say they carry a sponsor assigned number (only 1-208 were assigned in 1998 and I would wager less than 100 of those teams still compete today). Even fewer have ever competed without a number (teams weren't given numbers until 1997). There are some younger teams who get to run lower numbers because if a team splits from another team they are assigned an available number from the parent team's formation year.

Logitech keyboards have different profiles for different applications you may be running. When you start a game it switches to that game's profile. If you haven't configured the particular game's profile it will default to a basic configuration. You can use the Logitech software to configure the effects for each game.
The Romer-G switches were updated at some point. The blue housings are the older design which many people thought felt mushy. The black housings are the newer design which has a crisper feel.

Squirrel724 got a reaction from Ricardo56 in How do I get my Kone Pure to shine white?
The different colors in an RGB LED usually aren't capable of exactly the same levels of illumination. In your case it sounds like the red element is slightly brighter at maximum than the green and blue elements. If you want it to produce a white light you are going to have to fine tune the individual colors until you find the right settings.

Squirrel724 got a reaction from Zando_ in Dark theme complaining
The night theme complaints come when someone copies black text into the editor without changing the font color to automatic. When you fail to set the font color to automatic the black text on a grey background is very hard to read.

O-rings only help with the clack when you bottom out at the bottom of the keystroke. They do nothing to dampen the actual clicking of the blue switch.
