I just got a MG248Q and I cannot for the life of me get the display widget program to run.

IS g-sync really needed or will the be good without it? ASUS 24" MG248Q

why doesnt gtx970 have free-sync?

i have an asus strix gtx970 so i have all the horse power i need

So i was thinking about buying a second monitor and i really want a "gaming" monitor like one that have 144hz and i have been researching alot.But it has come down to benq,asus or acer.Im leaning towards the asus mg248q or asus vg248qe becuase they have displayports and hdmi(i know 144hz dont work with hdmi) so i want to ask the reddit community which one you think is better the price is like 30-40 euro the mg248q is about 330-340 and the vg248qe is about 300.I really want to buy the monitor this month while you still get doom for free when buying an asus monitor.II have also been looking at the benq xl2411z(about the same orice as the vg248qe) but there are some things i dont like about that monitor.

I have a problem with my pc can somebody please give me some advises.When i play for example bioshock infite or rocket league my pc crashes into a black screen where the only thing i can do is to restart or shut down my pc,but yet i can play lighter games like league of legends and hearthstone.There is no diffrence if i have the games on a ssd or a harddrive and i have tried installing them again and no help.I have tried running stress tests and checked tempetures and they look all good.But i have tried running heaven the test app then my pc crashes also.Whocrashed doesnt show anything and i tried doing a vlean install of windows 10 but that didnt help.Btw the problem was also on windows 7 so dont start hating on windows 10.Temperatures are ok and RAM is also.Now you may wonder what is my system parts and ill tell you they are like 1 week old.Its a brand new system i build with my brother. My specs: Intel Haswell core i5-4690k with stock fan Asus strix geforce gtx970 motherboard asus z97-p 2ssd and 1 harddrive a 650w power supply from corsair i think i have 16gb of ddr3 RAM case is coolermaster cosmos NOT THAT I THINK THAT MATTERS.
