Your choice of GPU manufacturer should depend entirely on your market. In my area the MSI card seems to be the best bang for the buck.

If you don't have the time to watch the whole thing, this takes you three minutes to watch and does in fact show a correlation between climate and conflict (1h19m36s). It also explains that some areas are indeed getting colder (Europe).

Certainly a possibility, have done this before. Make sure you have SLI off as you'd want the 670 to run independently. I don't remember what software I used to mine but both the Linux and Windows build had a commandline option for selecting a specific GPU.
