Noted, when it comes to buying it next week I'll look for some used deals, if not I'll grab a 265. To bad MC sucks on PS4 as that's the main purpose of the rig ( i know, don't judge him)

Need help with budget PC for a friend

Looks like im set on a r7 265 build. Offers way more performance and thanks to you guys I managed to get a build with a £20 more expensive GPU for £13 less! Great optimization, and im sure my friend will be super happy with the build. I am going to order the parts in a week so if you have any further adjustments post em below. -
LOL! Unfortunately, it's either a PS4 or a £300 PC plus accessories. He's getting it built as his 16th b-day present

the card isn't for me. Im doing a build for a friend who wants it this month. But yh, if it was me I'd save up another £200 for the entire build

Need help with budget PC for a friend
mehedi564 replied to mehedi564's topic in New Builds and Planning
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/MahuduHD/saved/2wFKHx So i took suggestions from all your guys' builds and made this. The SSD is important to him so it's a no go to ditch that. The only thing I can see on saving now is the GPU. is the 265 really necessary for high 900p? Any cheaper cases I don't like and the PSU is the only semi-modular in the budget. -

Yh i knew that, but he really wants the snappiness of an SSD after playing on my rig for a day. any cheaper SSD's out there? -
so looks like 270X is out of the budget. 750 ti would be a stretch. how does the 750 compare? more specifically the Palit version. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00IGTW10E/

well I won't be moving the PC out of my room only adjusting it's position every now and then. in that case, it shouldn't be a problem?

I'm building a budget PC for a friend who primarily want's to play MC and record it. He also wants to play a few AAA titles and some F2P games, nothing like BF4 multi 64 man. He already has a 900p monitor, KB, mouse and a 500GB drive. Here's what I've managed to create so far http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/cYQhFT -he already has a HDD to record to, so i didn't include one and I have a spare 1TB hdd for him, for media and games Is there anything I can improve/cut down on, as £300 pound is the goal and £350 is the max. I'd like to find a sweet spot. Also, can you recommend a better case than the source 210 for the same price or any good cases under £40?

Whats the cheapest gpu to run games near or at 60 fps, 900p on high?

I'm liking the aesthetic of the Dark rock pro 3! would the weight of it damage my mobo? it's a msi z97a-g45. Also, would you recommend after market fans? If not, how should I position the fans and wire them to my mobo and control them?
