  1. Yea, I also can't find any videos of people having the same problem, I have another motherboard I can use that will probably work, but then I will be limited to 4gb of ram, so I'm not SOL but I still can't see a reason for this not to work
  2. Without any boot device connected whenever I press F1 it says no available boot device, but otherwise I get the same result
  3. I'm sure the keyboard works as the numlock light shines and if I press F1 enough the computer starts beeping at every press, and I don't have any problems seeing what's on screen but I can try integrated
  4. Did you try changing the projecting mode on your computer? or does it recognize the screen at all?
  5. I just dug out a computer that I haven't used in a while that should have all working parts with 2 blank hard drives and a windows boot flashdrive plugged in. But when I start it, it goes to a screen that says Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility (This usually happpens) but then nothing happens when I push F1 or F2. Usually It would let me continue to whatever but now I can press it till the computer starts beeping at me and nothing happens. I have tried a lot of different ram configs, hard drive configs, and 2 different CPU's it's possible that the Hard drives don't work but it should still boot to my flash drive that works on other computers. Any help appreciated! Computer I'm Working With: Dell optiplex 745 Core 2 Quad 6600 6gb ddr2 80gb hdd 320gb Western DIgital Hdd Radeon HD5550
  6. I just gave in and wasted my money on some rgb led lights for my case because i saw my motherboard has a rbg led slot. I installed mystic Lights because that's the software supported by my MSI motherboard but I don't like the lack of options and integration. I was wondering if there is anyway someone has found to sync case lighting to other lighting applications. For instance I have the Logitech gaming software and that is fully intergraded into my games and applications, I just want a way to add my case lighting to the same synchronization. Any advice would be helpful
  7. UPDATE: I took a 4gb stick of ram from my school to see if it would work fine, and my computer still crashed, so I updated windows and put my 8gb stick back in for 12gb and my computer didn't crash, but I could have just not had enough time to test it because I had to give the 4gb stick back to my school. But now I have been on my computer for 5 hours switching between games and it is yet to crash, I would normally crash multiple times in an hour if I were gaming but I guess the windows update fixed it, or my computer got over its faze or something, anyway thanks for the help everyone!
  8. Only got one stick, don't worry though Imma steal a stick of ram from school and test it
  9. Both the scannow and windows memory diagnostic tool came up with nothing I think I will borrow some ram and see if I keep crashing tomorrow
  10. I'm running the scan and I will do the memory diagnostic after, but here is the xml dump for the last crash I had and it's the same for most of the other critical events - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> - <System> <Provider Name="Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power" Guid="{331C3B3A-2005-44C2-AC5E-77220C37D6B4}" /> <EventID>41</EventID> <Version>6</Version> <Level>1</Level> <Task>63</Task> <Opcode>0</Opcode> <Keywords>0x8000400000000002</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2018-05-13T21:32:55.516890900Z" /> <EventRecordID>25996</EventRecordID> <Correlation /> <Execution ProcessID="4" ThreadID="8" /> <Channel>System</Channel> <Computer>DESKTOP-TV397LU</Computer> <Security UserID="S-1-5-18" /> </System> - <EventData> <Data Name="BugcheckCode">26</Data> <Data Name="BugcheckParameter1">0x3f</Data> <Data Name="BugcheckParameter2">0x0</Data> <Data Name="BugcheckParameter3">0x0</Data> <Data Name="BugcheckParameter4">0x0</Data> <Data Name="SleepInProgress">0</Data> <Data Name="PowerButtonTimestamp">0</Data> <Data Name="BootAppStatus">0</Data> <Data Name="Checkpoint">0</Data> <Data Name="ConnectedStandbyInProgress">false</Data> <Data Name="SystemSleepTransitionsToOn">1</Data> <Data Name="CsEntryScenarioInstanceId">0</Data> <Data Name="BugcheckInfoFromEFI">true</Data> <Data Name="CheckpointStatus">0</Data> </EventData> </Event>
  11. That Makes more sense, the site is just a little confusing. I tried my other graphics card and I got memory management error instead of the usual glitched screen. CrystalDiskInfo says my 120GB and 3Tb are good but it says caution for my 2tb, I think im just going to stop using my 2tb anyway so i guess everything is good there
  12. I don't know how to tell if these numbers are good or not for what they are but here are the crystal mark results
  13. Yea I got good drives, Idk how old the 2tb is because i bought it off reddit, and when i realized it was 5400 rpm and it kept taking years to load into games I just bought a refurbished 3tb drive, but I've only had that one for a few days
  14. Yea I got a old HD 5550 that I can use, Ill try that next time it crashes
