FixedDevice got a reaction from EChondo in Just Cause 3 Suffers From Terrible Frame Rate and Load Times on the NextGen consoles
They did come out November 2013 so I will not call any console NextGen. They are FAR from it.
Thank you very much.

lol, you had to know the pile of crap this kind of thread would attract......it was just begging for a flame war to start. These threads hit this forum 10 times a day, and the exact same things are said over and over and over ad infinitum....it's pointless. Like what you like, buy what you want, and be thankful to the gaming gods and Gaben that you're doing it on PC, instead of XBone.

I should have added that price-to-performance footnote!

FixedDevice reacted to Enderman in Before asking about R9 380 / 390 vs GTX 960 / 970
Its only the answer when talking about price to performance
And not everyone is a pure "fps per dollar" gamer...

FixedDevice got a reaction from netherbawss235 in Before asking about R9 380 / 390 vs GTX 960 / 970
A short and simple answer:
Q: "R9 380 4GB or GTX 960?"
A: R9 380 4GB (Sapphire or MSI).
Q: "R9 390 or GTX 970?"
A: R9 390 (Sapphire or MSI).
*In terms of price-to-performance

FixedDevice got a reaction from Tomthedrum in Front panel connectors
@Tomthedrum please follow your posts.
That's a power switch lead that comes from the case itself. Every case should have one.
EDIT: Sorry, misinterpreted your post. You can buy another lead here:

Light gaming laptop. Don't run anything on max settings though.

For a very quiet case I'd go with Fractal Design's Define R5.

At least they are going the Guild Wars 2 route. Hopefully it'll be kept that way.

FixedDevice reacted to FAQBytes in Headphones haven't arrived after 3 days. Selected 2-day shipping.
It happens. Does it not have UPS tracking? I know what it is like trying to get stuff in and waiting to make sure everything works.
Considering I bought nearly everything used off Ebay, I was terrified that stuff would come in after DOA warranty expired. Especially considering some of them had no warranty.

FixedDevice reacted to petem in Headphones haven't arrived after 3 days. Selected 2-day shipping.
Per their Shipping FAQ at http://www.newegg.com/HelpInfo/FAQDetail.aspx?Module=4
... "All orders are processed and shipped within our 1-2 business day processing timeframe, regardless of the shipping option selected. Although we do our best to ship out all orders the same day they are placed, and we manage it over 99% of the time, we can never guarantee same day shipping on any order. Processing time is not included in your shipping option, so an order shipped using next day air will arrive in one business day from the day it is shipped.
To help ensure an urgent order is delivered to you as quickly as possible, Newegg.com offers a Rush Processing option for orders placed before 12PM PST. This option costs a small additional fee, and Newegg will put forth its best efforts to ensure your package leaves our warehouse that day. However we can never guarantee same day shipping on any order. If we fail to ship your order on the same day it was placed, the rush processing fee will be refunded. If, however, you are close enough to our California, Tennessee or New Jersey warehouses, you can get Local Express Delivery for certain items. Check your item's shipping options during check out for details."
Hope that helps.

FixedDevice reacted to gilm0re3 in Should I make the switch from Fullscreen gaming to Borderless Windowed gaming?
Just to add to this, I believe I have heard quite a few times that running in fullscreen basically tells your computer to only really focus on processing whats running fullscreen because why would you be multitasking if you're running something that's taking up the entire screen. So theoretically you should get slightly better performance because your computer is focusing on making multitasking not as necessary.
Or something to that extent.

FixedDevice got a reaction from Mobilizer in What age do you have to be to play Dota 2?
Probably T for Teen (17+). There's a few suggestive themes, animated blood as well as violence.
There is no official ESRB rating for the game as it is centered around online interaction.
