  1. If he is questioned by the police, they are pursuing matters in the criminal court. He doesn't have much to fear here in my opinion. Even if found guilty, if this is his first offense, he'll get a probation or a suspended sentence at worst and 1-2000 euro fine. People are getting suspended sentence for manslaughter here all the time. The problem is they can go to civil court next, and he may have to pay a lot more money then. It is not unusual to wait for the criminal court ruling to establish guilt and then filing a civil lawsuit.
  2. I have 4670k@4.6, rx480 and I get 250-350 fps - low settings(you don ' t need anything at high except shadows). The GPU is not the limiting component - the CPU is. My GPU gets 70% load, while the CPU is at 100%, and there is barely any difference at 1080p and 1440p. If CS GO is your priority, get the fastest CPU you can afford, and a low-mid tier graphics card.
  3. Have i heard correctly? 5 grand? For what? 4K 120hz - Sony 65x900e already has 4k 120hz panel except it does not accept 4K@120hz signal, so they added HDMI 2.1 or DP 1.4. We'll probably see other HDMI 2.1 TVs this year. So 3300 dollars more for new HDMI, low input lag(like what $200 monitors have already)and G-sync. I can understand if it was MicroLED, or at least an OLED, but it's just VA TV/Monitor.
  4. Samsung's new VA panels with quantum dots have the best picture quality. These panels have 125% sRGB, 3000:1 contrast ratio, great black levels, very little BLB and most importantly they manage to solve VA's greatest shortcoming - slow pixel transitions. Of course they have downsides like worse viewing angels and gamma shift. All of these monitors are FHD except Samsung C34F791 , but it is expensive. Samsung CH711 is about to be released soon and hopefully will be in your price range.
  5. I hate motion blur and think movies should be at least 60fps. People who say HFR is bad are just used to 24fps. You tube videos are 60fps and they look awesome. Some console gamers are still saying 30fps games are better, but no one thinks that after a week of gaming at 60fps.
  6. If the image is still 16:9 you will see the same picture, just sharper in larger resolutions(more and smaller pixels). People are recommending 1440p@144hz because they prefer smoother picture over sharper one. It ' s personal preference. 1440p@144hz is smoother, 4k@60p will look better - it ' s up to you.
  7. May be the new Playstation will run the same games at 60fps. It won't fragment the market and developers job isn't gonna be that much harder.
  8. http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asus_rog_swift_pg279q.htm But I checked again news about the 30 and 35 inch AUO panels and they seem to be AMVA panels, not AHVA(the IPS type). IT looks like we are going to wait longer for 3440x1440p@144hz AHVA panels. Sorry for the confusion.
  9. AHVA is not a compromise. IT`s a type of IPS with better blacks and contrast. Acer XB270HU and ASUS PG279Q have VA panel. AUO will release to manufacturers 30 and 35 inch 3440x1440p@144hz AHVA panels this year. Samsung will be one of the first to use them in their monitors.
  10. G-sync is doing the same thing like v-sync, even if your PC can`t output enough FPS to match you monitor refresh rate.
  11. There is major problem with HMDs. You can`t see or hear anything while using it. If anyone want`s to talk to you, they need to grab your hand. That`s gonna scare the hell out of you, not to mention what might happen to older people. That camera might start displaying picture if any movement is detected. That will solve the problem, but that`s just my personal opinion.
  12. Why are you comparing Zen with Kaby Lake? AMD said Zen will come to HEDT first. When Zen comes out, current Intel HEDT line will be Broadwell-e. We don`t even know when Zen mainstream CPUs will come out, but probably 2017. That`s when Cannonlake will debut.
  13. If you don`t have oculus rift, you wont be able to play the game. And the competition will do the same if that strategy works. PC gaming will be like console gaming - exclusives. You will need to buy whole new headset, just to play one game that you like. Imagine if AMD and Nvidia also try to do this. Then Dell, Acer, Asus, BenQ do it with monitors. Next Razor and Logitech decide they will subsidize "this great game developed specially for your mouse".
