i believe its only louder because it blows air down on to a non uniform surface (the motherboard) and has a second fan. but i will probably end up with the TF unless the 3 manages to have better cooling at the same fan speeds and still fits because of that amazing looking cap plate.

not all closed have narrow soundstage and not all open have wide soundstage. the HD600's have a very narrow soundstage but great imaging with all the detail right up at your ears. the M40x's have decent soundstage and good imaging without the narrow overbearing sound of the M50x's. the AKG K553's have massive soundstage and are sealed cans (would reccomend the K545's over them due to better cable and lower price but they have slightly reduced soundstage compared to the K553s)

no but it shows that your point of thicker rads being a cheaper option is false unless you are taking into account having to buy a new case to fit them. the more true statement would be that thicker rads are a more accessible option compared to longer rads.

Why they are using the flawed Phillips Twin Eye sensor instead of a good optical one is beyond me. I also love how they name a product as Tournament Edition and don't add onboard memory to save the settings, so you must install Synapse and log in on every PC you plug the mouse in.
If they make a cheaper Deathadder without the gimmicky lights, tighten their QC and add on board memory, a lot more enthusiasts will consider buying them. They had almost achieved that with the Deathadder Black.
