  1. For multi-threaded applications, i7's are what you need
  2. Depends how urgent you want to build your pc. If you can wait then sure else buy a skylake
  3. I'm planning to use my 1TB HDD in a external enclosure. I use the laptop for uni and mainly store files through dropbox. Any heavy workloads I use my main rig at home.
  4. I'm stuck between a 2013 Sandisk X110 128gb (SD6SB1M-128G-1022i) vs a 2015 SanDisk 120gb SSD Plus (SDSSDA-120G-Q25). Which one should I get? Newer or older? It's for my laptop so I don't want to spend so much and these fit the bill.
  5. Intel i7 6700k Sapphire R9 380 4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x8GB (16GB) Score: 1.9
  6. What do you guys think of this? I'm not looking for something to game on just normal work, internet, searching stuff and streaming netflix. It's around my price range, light (perfect!) and seems great for University. The reviews are 50% but I feel like this may be a good buy. http://www.dell.com/nz/p/inspiron-11-3157-laptop/pd?oc=y511232nz&model_id=inspiron-11-3157-laptop Other suggestions welcome
  7. Yeah I know man, I got a R9 380 for my build, but since I live outside US, my bro wants a budget GPU. Which the 950 hit's that price point here Btw this r9 380 kicks so much ass!
  8. I know it won't really matter, I'm just curious. EVGA or ASUS basically? Don't say get 960 or R9 380 haha
  9. If i paired one of these with a 4GB GTX 960, reckon this could run modern games pretty solid? Else he'll pay a bit more for a i5 6400.
  10. Anyone know what tier this PSU is? FSP GROUP FSP400-60HCN 400W
  11. I've always used norton since it was so cheap and did a decent job for my laptop so far. Should I install this again (to SSD) or get different antivirus for my new rig?
