    I used to use my Raspberry Pi for XBMC but I found the interface a little slow even when I overvolted and overclocked to 1GHz. However my Pi only has 256MB of RAM and that was a couple of months ago, the new builds of XBMC may be better.
     
    1080p playback seems fine but you cannot really skip through the video.

    This is very similar to Teamviewer which I have been using for years for free, you have to be crazy to pay 80 dollars for this.

    You have to get a PS2 bios and you need the network adapter to get your own. However there are bios packs available online, but that might not be strictly legal.
