  1. Haha. I'm planning to get the i5 4590 (without K) and an Asus B85M Gamer since it will be just a pure gaming rig. I don't have the capacity to buy the whole parts since i'm on a tight budget, and getting the most reasonable parts first is my target, since my current Proc and Mobo is still doing good. Or, is a good idea?
  2. You got a point :) We'll i'm just have a little patient on waiting things. :) aside from bottlenecks, would my old MOBO+Proc do some technical issues like decreasing the lifespan of that GPU? Is it happen before?
  3. Dude, It's on the Tier 2b (Good) bracket, below the Rosewill Capstone.
  4. Hi Everyone! I'm just thinking if should I buy the Sapphire R9 380 with Seasonic G-550 550W 80Plus Gold for my old PC? Will there be any disadvantage aside from the Athlon X2's bottleneck the 380? I really don't mind if it will not be able to run the latest AAA games since i will upgrade the MOBO+PROC+RAM later on. I just want to buy the GPU and PSU first, because of reasons :). Here's my current build: Athlon II X2 240 (2.8 GHz) MSI k9n6pgm2-v2 + 2GB DDR2 Orion 500w Asus GT420
  5. Thank you so much! this forum helps a lot with my decision Thank you also DarkBlade2117 for your suggestion
  6. if it will reach a 30-40ish FPS on a medium temporally, i might go for it on my question about bottleneck, i mean, will it cause some hardware failure on the 380 because of the bottleneck?
  7. I like your idea I'll try to look for it since once i got my full build, i'll give this system to my girlfriend who whats to have a PC (but not the 380! ) Thank you!
  8. My mobo has a 1.0 x16 slot, whiih i hope the 380 has a backward comp with 1.0 x16. for the PSU, im quite sure that 520w from Seasonic will handle my components while waiting for the upgrade. I just want to have it earlier since it is already available. Does bottleneck will cause some issues with the 380? on a hardware wise?
  9. Hi Folks! I have a MSI k9n6pgm2-v2, with a Athlon 240 and 2gb of RAM. Will the R9 380 run on this set up? I'm planning also to add up the RAM and a new PSU, like a seasonic 520 bronze G series. I came up this idea when i watched an episode from NCIX tips and linus said, "Getting a beast graphics card is going a better option, rather than going with a half of a full platform upgrade". I hope someone with a good heart can answer my question
  10. ALL OF THEM ARE AWESOME! SHUT UP AND TAKE MY PC! (Oh, so how i will use it in case?)
  11. Hi Guys! I'm just worried if my planned gaming rig/Video Editing will be a bad or a good choice from the parts i'll buy. When you say Gaming, i like to play some AAA games at 1080p from Med to High settings. I just want to experience the game and not as hard core as the others. I do have some parts on my mind but i'm not sure if it will run? I'm currently here at Philippines and the US Dollar to PHP is 1 = 46.37 Processor: Intel i5 4690k (For future overclocking and Performance) - PHP 11,090 / $ 239.17 Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme4 - PHP 7,250 / $ 156.35 GPU: (Don't have any idea yet) PSU: Seasonic G-550 80 Plus Gold - PHP 3,980 / $ 85.83 RAM: Gskill RipjawX 16GB (2x8) - PHP 4,450 / $ 95.97 Cooler: Air or Water? For the other components, i'll just use the current one and will replaced it later (Monitor, Mouse and Keyboard, Case(ATX), HDDs) i'm open for any suggestions or corrections if my planned build is just a waste of money. Thank you!
