Installed a HG10 A1 onto my R9 290 but during the boot sequence after a while the GPU fan will go to 100% but I haven't ran it for long enough to see if it will crash.

I've re-installed the HG10 A1 twice now just to guarantee it's not an issue with the heatsink/fan.

Not sure if I should just keep running it and see what happens.

And no. DX11 libraries will only be used by programs asking for it. And if you use Steam to download and play games, it typically keeps your Direct X and other core libraries up to date for you.

Appears to be fine on Linux (where I'm sending this message from). But I keep getting the issue no matter what on Windows 10.

Have you updated .net framework and Direct X respectively? Does your graphics card support Direct X 12? If not, you may need to install DX11/11.1 libraries as well.

check my sig I have an R9 290 , anyway, I guess I could try that? It happens simply on the desktop with nothing open so I don't think installing anything should prevent a crash on the default Windows 10 programs?

I have tried version 15.12 15.13 and 15.2 all the same issue, I've set a max temperature in the drivers so overheating isn't an issue and the issue happens at idle too.

Anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy,  I am having an issue in which I get a black screen , keyboard+mouse become unusable but I can still hear people if I am in a skype call and they can hear me too. If I unplug my headset and plug it back in however this no longer happens. Any ideas? I've ran check disks, clean installed windows 10 3 times, removed the OC on my CPU. Oddly enough my GPU ran a 6 hour stress test perfectly fine but any form of DirectX interaction results in this black screen issue coming up faster than usual however it happens completely spontaneously. I don't get a crash dump 90% of the time due to the fact that my PC doesn't actually crash (hence the skype calls). Crash dumps that I have had are here.

Okay so im going to do a animation for a history project for a history project near the end of the year. But my voice is terrible and I need someone with a great voice to narrate the animation for me. But the project is probably going to be assigned in 1 to 1.5 months. I'm a plausable be a tetrachromat. Which means I have far greater colorvision than the average person. I have a minor issue with green variation colors though. Tetrachromacy might explain why I'm so favorable of purple and UV LED colors with my PC hardware.

I also have 10 degrees wider peripheral vision, as well as 20/11 acuity in both eyes. 

I wear gunnars to restrict my vision because my vision is too powerful and can cause migraines for me.

 

I'm colour blind and have a BAD TN panel so

I'm red-green colour blind and I'm not even gonna BEGIN to try and do this ._.

And honestly, i like AMD but in no way are Intel and AMD's six cores comparable (when I say this I mean in many ways, price, performance, power, arcitecture)  :unsure:

 

(I even had a 1090t in my main build before the 1366 release.)

 

Edit: To make myself even more clear.. or to make it worse, Intel side of things + only mainstream/highend consumer (Intel CORE), otherwise we have xeon 10cores/(12-15)... And just realised we have "phi" too so.. 61cores...

Not saying they're comparable cause they're REALLY not but I'm just saying they're still 6 cores. (I like AMD too but still have my Xeon )

Aren't AMD 8-core CPU's not truly 8-core? Don't they have 4 modules, with some resources shared? Intel's claim that it would be the first true 8 core non-server CPU would probably be correct.

I hate to be elitist but ssssssssssh until you know what you're talking about because Intel's CPUs also share resources.

Just as the 980X(2010) was the first 6-core chip in the true consumer market and we still don't have 6-cores in the mainstream platform(2014) unless you consider 3930k and 4930k but they're still at about 600$.

If you want to see a good OC on baseclock just look at me OC'ing from 2.27Ghz to 4.1Ghz.

Happened to me twice. It's a dead drive, you may be able to get it to work maybe once in a blue moon by reconnecting it repeatedly but other than that sorry mate.

It's not AMD's stab at anything, it uses existing technologies and allows companies to offload sound processing instructions to a dedicated chip on the GPU to avoid CPU strain.

i doubt there is any issues with the CPU bringing it down, i saw a test to bottleneck a system, and until he degraded his cpu into a 2ghz i3 he barely lost any fps at all.

That's cause Intel CPUs perform better with AMD GPUs single-threaded drivers ftw.

Well, not every PC gamer is a graphic hoe like you. I have no problem with playing games on even low on my system.

I upgraded from an AMD Radeon 3200 mobile graphics laptop, I can play low graphics perfectly fine but tbh if you lower everything else and raise textures and AA games can still look pretty damn good on low end systems.

Counter Strike is the only game you really need no AA on but even then I deal with the input lag and I own people so *shrug*

I don't know what these people are talking about, but 750ti will run the game at @60fps 1080p on high with no AA. Source 

i can only assume people are talking about presets here and whole the fuck plays without AA?
