I do not know about hot, but it is loud when the fans ramp up.

It is indeed pretty loud, but if you are doing any sort of activity that would produce sound while wearing a headset, you will not hear it. I can barely hear it with just the headset on, and if there is any sort of music, gunshots or teamspeak, I cannot hear it at all. I love the temps, clocked at 1516 core and 7908 (Stable in benchmarks, not in games) will give me a max temp of around 65 degrees in Valley and 70 in Heaven. However, I do not have a single fan in my system so it sure as hell is possible to go lower. Any other questions?

Doesn't that also depend on Bios settings such as C-states?

Common sense haha!I will be replacing the case along with my CPU in the very near future, this was just meant as a temporary solution, but it seemed so effective that I actually had to ask.

Vsync is turned off in nvidia control panel and I doubt google chrome has vsync enabled by default.

Some sort of DVI cable, by the looks of it (no gap between the 8 pins) it should be a DVI-D.

Installed my new PSU about 5 hours ago, everything has been running fine ever since!

Oh, makes sense why a PSU with cheap parts would fail then. No, I am literally scared everytime I start my PC, and really looking forward to the upgrade.

First thing I would do is post how much money I am getting to the whole internet. Then invest in AMD 

Yeah, upgrade is incoming. Not sure what I want though, leaning towards the 4690k since I am not really that into video editing and whatnot

I went from a Radeon HD7750, clocked at like 0.7ghz, could not even watch 720p on youtube. Even though I am currently the mayor of Bottleville, it is an insane upgrade that allowed me to play over 60FPS for the first time on a game other than CS.

Old post of mine, can't remember which. Haha I actually had no clue how old it was, might  be time to upgrade. Googling a little bit tells me that heat can make it turn off, but doesn't that give you a BSOD or something? Mine died literally like the PSU was unplugged.
