  2. Having an issue were my dietPi's internet is dying randomly after 1+ hours of being online, seems to be randomly timed Raspberry Pi running DietPi connected by wifi Running OpenVPN on startup cant see any logging related to it even after chaning dietPi's logging to store it all. It seems i can still get local access to it on the network but no internet on it I wonder if its issue with the OpenVPN ip link show shows 1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000 link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00 2: eth0: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc mq state DOWN mode D EFAULT group default qlen 1000 link/ether dc:a6:32:32:22:f5 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff 3: wlan0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UP m ode DORMANT group default qlen 1000 link/ether dc:a6:32:32:22:f6 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff 4: tun0: <POINTOPOINT,MULTICAST,NOARP,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast sta te UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 100 link/none /etc/network/interfaces has # Drop-in configs source interfaces.d/* # Local auto lo iface lo inet loopback # Ethernet allow-hotplug eth0 iface eth0 inet dhcp address 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0 gateway 0.0.0.0 #dns-nameservers 0.0.0.0 # WiFi allow-hotplug wlan0 iface wlan0 inet static address 192.168.1.217 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1 dns-nameservers 8.8.8.8 wireless-power off wpa-conf /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf Any ideas? Thanks edit: posted on wrong sub forum, my bad new one here:
  4. The mods I see seem risky with low quality solder or if you don't know how to solder well... I would rather skip it and get a set of headphones that are comparible to the 990s but with detectable cable.. Since 990s are $150 and I'm willing to spend $250 I'd assume there are good other options
  5. It's a shame the dt 990s don't have a detachable cable.. They seem very good price point but without a detectable cable they are useless to me (cable will break with 6 months due to cats etc)
  6. Looking at threads like I'm kind of worried about getting the k7xx since they are more than the hd68x and people seem to prefer the hd68x despite lower soundstage
  7. Forgot to add since its gaming and I want a good soundstage and don't mind audio bleed Im looking at open headphones. Also considering the akg k7xx 's
  8. Since most of these headphones are cheaper in the states and I plan to buy over there.. I wouldn't be able to deal with customer support at all anyway... But thanks for mentioning the msr7 ill consider them
  9. I'm travelling to the USA from UK for 3 weeks due to work and was thinking of picking up the massdrop 6xx or 68x whilst I can (twice the price to get in UK) But when I started looking I saw other possible headsets also with a good soundstage etc... Dt 990 Pro etc.. These headphones would be used 100% just for gaming as I use my sonos speakers for music. I won't get the dt 990 Pro however as a odd requirement I have is they must have a detachable cable I already own a fiio e10k amp + dac And looking to spend $150-250 Any recommendations or anything to add?
  10. Do the 20's lack nice bass when compared to the 5's?
  11. Any recommendations for speakers under $500 with Bluetooth primarily for music? (also music through PC) I have previously listened to Sonos Play:3's (no longer own) and loved the sound and form factor of them and looking for a replacement but they cannot be used on my pc which is a requirement.
  12. I would rather try avoid the chance of BIOS issues.. its why in the build i linked i went for a more expensive b250 motherboard vs cheap h110, but thanks for the advice on AMD CPU! Edit : also just to add to this, there are no cheap mini ITX for these CPU's which is a shame..
  13. Hey I am currently getting a partlist for a plex server/nas I am wanting to build. The use case is 1-2 transcoded 1080p streams and possibly direct play 4k although maybe just another 1080p but direct.... Part list It currently has a g4560 cpu and I am wondering if that would be enough for my uses, it has a passmark of 4901. Also will be going with Windows server OS as freenas uses to much ram and also I have heard doesn't play nicely with plex.. I want this to be low cost build. Any recommendations or disagreements on hardware or software that I have chosen? Thanks!
  14. I cant find the aoc q2963pm online in the uk anyway, also i doubt think a widescreen monitor like though would suit me, i quite like the idea of the additional vertical pixels of WQHD as well as the fact it retains a 16:9 ratio. I plan to game and code and do everything on this monitor, i current have 2 monitors and a 3 monitor stand and am wanting a new one, i have one IPS and one TN which are both 1080p, does anyone have any other recommendations? The main reason the korean monitor isn't an instant buy is i believe i will be charged £35 customs when ordered which makes me consider getting the asus TN panel instead...
