  1. Weird thing is I received this drive today, brand new. Performance on my IronWolf is still perfectly normal.
  2. If I try to initialize, I get an I/O device error. When trying to initialize with diskpart, i get this error: VDS fails to write boot code on a disk during clean operation. Error code: 8007045D@02070008 I have tried both Intel and Standard AHCI controller drivers. With Intel, the Exos doesn't show up at all. With standard, I get I/O device error. The drive is also not detected on a PCIe SATA card. Also, booting with the drive plugged into any SATA port is excruciatingly slow. 4. I just got a new 2080 for $350 off craigslist. Factory sealed.
  5. Happy one year It started working after I upgraded my GPU from a GTX 1060 to an RTX 2080...
  6. You could probably grab a used 3070 a little over your budget, but my prediction may be wrong.
  7. I just picked up a factory-sealed HP RTX 2080 off of Craigslist. For 350USD. Check around your area, I saw some other cheap Turing cards for sale as well.
  8. Voltage is at 1.479, and it's running waaaaay too hot. It reaches 90-100C at 40% utilization. I think i'll try underclocking a little till I can afford a dark rock pro 4.
  9. I originally bought this cooler for my 4690k... Thanks for your insight, I'll start looking at some 280mm options. Why do AIOs perform worse than some air coolers?
  10. Heyo, I was just wondering if these temps are normal, because they seem a bit high. HWinfo CSVs are attached at the bottom. It seems to only hit 100C at its short duration power limit, where it also throttles about 8%. It cools back down at its long duration power limit. Would a 240mm radiator significantly help these thermals, and is there anything unsafe about running these temperatures? It doesn't hit that power limit very often, but when it does it thermal throttles a bit. I'm also concerned with CPU power on this board, and I was wondering if it could hit the higher power limit with a better motherboard + cooler. Any insight it greatly appreciated, thank you Cinebench R15.CSV Cinebench R20.CSV
  11. Okay? I'm only running at stock, any issues with VRM's then? I'm assuming not.
  12. Will this board be a bottleneck for the 9700k? I have an RM750 (80+ Gold), I heard that power was the issue on Z370's with the 9-series.
  13. Hey y'all, Might just be paranoid, but I might be infected. I've already scanned with malwarebytes and windows defender, and both came up clean. But I've been having some weird issues lately. Discord keeps crashing consistently (every 10 minutes on the dot, might be unrelated), System process is using around 20-40MB/s disk at any given time, and no matter what I do, absolutely no shutdown commands work. Start>Shutdown doesnt work, shutdown /s /f /t 0 doesn't work, as well as a tap of the power button does absolutely nothing. Now, I'm not sure if it's the new Windows update, or some bad malware. I did just pirate a game, but I also just updated, and I'm not sure which it is. There aren't any sketchy processes running that I've seen. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
  14. Thanks. I'm not that well versed in home audio as you can tell.
