    Hello, I would like to know whether partitioning my laptop hard disk(magnetic) will be better or merging together to form a single drive/partition will be better for my hard disk life and performance.Also please let me know technical explanation regarding this issue.Is this applicable to external Hard disks also?(magnetic).Please let me know as soon as possible.
