  1. Update: using the R9 380 instead of the gtx 950
  2. Wondering what experienced builders think of my first build. Primarily for gaming and basic school purposes. Intel core i5-4460 Gigabyte ga-h97M-D3H Kingston hyper x fury black (2x4gb) Seagate barracuda 1tb Gigabyte gtx 950 xtreme Corsair cx500 Corsair spec 01
  3. Wondering what experienced builders would recommend for a CPU + graphics card combo would be for my budget: The i3-4170 and the msi r9 380, or the i5-4460 and the EVGA gtx 950 Thanks!
  4. And would the i3-4170 and R9 380 combo be better or the i5-4460 and gtx 950 combo?
  5. How will the 4170 pair with an R9 380?
  6. Update: No SSD MSI Radeon R9 380 Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply everything else the same
  7. thanks for the suggestion! I will definitely scratch the ssd for an upgrade in the graphics card/psu and then buy an ssd later
  8. I am building my first gaming pc, and I was wondering which graphics card would be best since they are around the same price point. My 2 choices were either a GTX 750 ti FTW, or a GTX 950 superclocked. (my processor is an Intel Core i3-4170) Thanks!
  9. My first build primarily for gaming, wondering what experienced builders think: Intel Core i3-4170 Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H Micro ATX Kingston HyperX Fury Red 8GB (2 x 4GB) Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB FTW Corsair SPEC-01 RED Corsair CX 430W 80+ Bronze
  10. what if I have a gtx 750ti in the build also? would the X4 860K be fine or would the upgrade to an A10-7870K be worth it? Or maybe a i3-4170...?
  11. would you recommend that over the i3-4170?
  12. I am building my first PC, primarily for gaming. I am new into the computer tech realm so I was just wondering what CPU would be best for gaming with a CPU budget of around 120$. Thanks!
