  1. Didn’t use PC for a few months. Just re-set it up and when I turn it on, I get a “No Signal” message on all my monitors. Any ideas? Here’s a video of what’s happening https://youtu.be/lXUPA8cvNYU
  2. https://imgur.com/a/FGJOcFW Basically I insert my headphones into the mixer fully, and sound sounds all weird and distorted. But if I remove the headphones slightly so it's not all the way in, then sound is fine. Wtf. Any ideas?
  3. What it looks like with GOG Galaxy for instance full screened on my middle main monitor: https://i.imgur.com/DNOUQCY.jpg Then, if I minimize it, it looks fine: https://i.imgur.com/bk8sKe5.jpg Any ideas? I've tried going into Display Settings and using that graphical "Rearrange your displays" interface. That seemed like it'd work, but it didn't.
  4. PC Freezes up, everything stops working, then starts working again but Audio won't work after. Basically, for instance, I was watching a Twitch stream. Then, everything on my computer just freezes and locks up for about half a minute to a minute. Then, it all starts working again, but the audio completely stops working. Specs: Windows 10 64 bit home, OS build 18362.267 all recent windows updates, just checked i7-8700k cpu NVIDIA GTX 1080 gpu, most recent nvidia drivers installed samsung 960 ssd, samsung nvme drivers installed ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E gaming motherboard, most recent BIOS and chipset installed 16 GB DDR4 RAM I was having this problem a week or two ago, and so I reformatted completely. But now it's happening again! I have no idea what's causing it. Any ideas? Thank you.
  5. Been observing, and the only times that this happens is when there's a random CPU spike. Like this, that just happened. Everything else looked normal. CPU for some reason just spiked like crazy.
  6. I'm not sure what's odd and isn't there. I've seen the GPU Clock go up when gaming but go back down when I'm not.
  7. Had task manager running when it happened just now, looks like there was a random CPU spike for some reason? Any ideas?
  8. Yeah, I need to update my signature, I simplified the Snow setup to 1 1TB SSD and 1 4TB HDD, so less overall drives, just 2 higher capacity ones. I can keep up task manager I suppose and if I see anything weird when that occurs I can report back or something. It never happened until I got the 2nd drive. It does seem to happen when I'm either playing a game (Final Fantasy XIV Online) or watching a video (Twitch, YouTube) now that I think about it. However, I was playing those just fine before the new Hard Drive (the game is on the SSD) the only things I have on the hard drive are things that I don't access often. Important documents, photos, etc. But with the GTX 1080 the gaming and videos should be fine, the 1080 is showing at 35 C right now with stuff on 3 monitors via Display Port.
  9. Any ideas as to what's causing this? I use a 1TB SSD for my OS & programs, and just bought this 4TB HDD for storage. But ever since I installed it a couple of days ago, my PC randomly slows down and hangs for like a minute and then returns back to normal. It's weird. I formatted the 4TB drive after I booted into windows, then put a bunch of files on it. That seemed to work well. But these hang ups are really annoying. Any ideas? Specs: intel i7-8700k cpu gtx 1080 gpu, most recent drivers 16 GB RAM Windows 10 pro 64 bit, most recent windows updates 1tb ssd for os & programs 4tb hdd for storage Pretty straight forward.
  10. Sorry I took a while, I uninstalled icue, rebooted, reinstalled it, rebooted, and that seemed to work. Thanks!
  11. I set up just the basic 1 2 and 3 buttons to correspond to 1 2 and 3 on the hotbar for FFXIV. But when I press them, it does nothing. The firmware and icue software are all updated. So I opened up sublime text (notepad) and tried, and still nothing seems to be going through. Any ideas? Pic is for showing my setup. https://i.imgur.com/jiNMs49.jpg
  12. Is there an easy way to do color correction in Adobe Premiere Pro CC? Just some sort of preset that just works? I don't want to spend a ton of time on it.
  13. Ah awesome, sounds good! I'll order the liquid spark and give that a try then. Basically just want to increase the volume and give these headphones that are more neutral a better lift in sound. I have ground loop isolators literally all throughout my audio setup, anything that has audio, has a ground loop isolator attached to it before it goes into the mixer. USB and 3.5mm ground loop isolators. So that should ensure that everything is clean, I think.
  14. All righty so if I get a d10 and a liquid spark, how do those connect to my Yamaha AG06 mixer? I'm completely new to audio stuff, the mixer itself was pretty advanced stuff to me. Currently I just plug my headphones into the headphone plug in the mixer. Looking at the liquid spark & d10, they seem to have these red and white cable inputs? Basically, what cables do I run from my mixer to...wherever? Currently, I just run audio from my mic, PC#1, PC#2, and computer monitor into the mixer. Then I plug the headphones into the headphone plug. What the mixer looks like right now:
  15. Which headphone amp should I use? I have a Yamaha AG06 mixer and AKG Pro K-702 headphones. The audio volume on these headphones seem kinda low, so I assume I need to look into a headphone amp? I don't know anything about headphone amps and how they work, so I'm really leaning on your guys recommendations. Budget is $200.
  16. Hello, when I turn the Monitor volume up on my Yamaha AG06 mixer, I'm getting a very distinct and loud hum. If I keep the knob at 1, I barely if at all hear any of this hum. The hum is not present in any recordings or live streams, it's only in my ears in my headphones, otherwise I'd try to record it. This is the setup: Yamaha AG06 Mixer iPower Low Noise DC Power Supply iDefender3.0 External USB Ground Loop Eliminator Mpow Ground Loop Noise Isolator for Car Audio/Home Stereo System with 3.5mm Audio Cable AmazonBasics USB 2.0 Cable - A-Male to B-Male - 16 Feet AmazonBasics XLR Male to Female Microphone Cable - 25 Feet Audio-Technica AT2035 Cardioid Condenser Microphone UGREEN 3.5mm 1/8" TRS to Dual 6.35mm 1/4" TS Mono Stereo Y-Cable UGREEN 3.5mm to 2RCA Audio Auxiliary Stereo Y Splitter Cable Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Professional Studio Monitor Headphones How it's setup: The Audio Technica AT2035 XLR mic is plugged into the XLR mic plugin on the Yamaha AG06. I have 3.5mm cables plugged into PC #1, and PC # 2, as well as into my main asus monitor, grabbing audio from them all, going back into the AG06. Each 3.5mm connection has an Mpow ground loop isolator plugged into it. The iPower low noise DC power supply is then plugged into a power strip, then into the Yamaha AG06 Mixer. The Amazon Basics USB 2.0 Cable A-Male to B-Male is plugged into the Yamaha AG06 mixer, then runs to PC #2's USB 3.0. The iDefender USB Ground Loop Isolator is plugged into this cable, then plugged into PC #2. The audio technica ATH-m50x is plugged into the headphone plugin on the Yamaha AG06 mixer using the Amazon Basics XLR cable. PC #1 and PC #2 are on different power strips, they're on opposite ends of my home office. Not sure if that's an issue. Asus monitor is on yet another power strip as well. And that's it. Just about everything has ground loop isolators connected to it. If I turn the Monitor Volume up on the Yamaha AG06 mixer from 1 to 4, I start hearing the humming / background noise. At about 6, it gets much louder. At 7, it's over powering. At 10, the max, it's absurd. I'm also wondering if this is normal?
  17. Is it? I searched for "F4-3600C16Q-32GTZR" on the motherboard's QVL list at: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/ROG_STRIX_Z370-E_GAMING/ROG_STRIX_Z370-E_GAMING-DRAM_QVL_20190220.pdf and did not see it anywhere, hence why I'm asking.
  18. Looking to upgrade from 16GB to 32GB RAM. Will this RAM work with my motherboard? Hi, will this RAM work with this motherboard? RAM: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232492 Motherboard: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075RHWCC4 This RAM isn't on the QVL memory support list at: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/ROG_STRIX_Z370-E_GAMING/ROG_STRIX_Z370-E_GAMING-DRAM_QVL_20190220.pdf. I just want 32 GB RAM that's decently fast, nothing crazy. Using 16GB in this build currently and am finding myself using a lot of it. This is the current RAM I'm using: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231941
  19. I don't think I'm comfortable / confident enough to go the full custom waterloop route yet, being my first time doing this with a video card. I was considering something along the lines of: https://www.raijintek.com/en/products_detail.php?ProductID=46 With 2-3 fans. Or, another option I was considering, is: https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-Accelero-Efficient-VRM-Cooling-DCACO-V800001-GBA01/dp/B00HHMJIIO Thoughts?
  20. Hello, I'm wanting to look into good options for after market coolers for my GTX 1080 Founder's Edition video card. I'm very new at this so I'd like something pretty easy to do, but I'd like to see if I can get it to be cooler when playing games. The FE card only has that one big ol' fan on it, so I think that's why it's getting pretty hot. Thank you.
  21. I'm looking for headphones that will fit me comfortably. I have big ears and a big head. I have the Logitech G430's, and the Audio Technica ATH-m50X and both feel too small, especially the Audio Technica. The logitech G430's feel like they're going in the right direction, but not quite there yet in terms of how much room they have for my ears. Feels like I'm taking up every inch of the Logitech headphones, and the audio technica's feel like they're squishing my ears. Specifically looking for headphones, not headsets, because I have a legit XLR Mic, don't need a headset mic. Budget is $200, but please keep in mind that I'm looking for headphones with A LOT of room for my ears, as explained above, audio quality isn't as important to me as comfort, and I have Amazon Prime, so Amazon links would be preferred.
  22. I ran a User Benchmark test earlier today and these were the results, not sure if that helps: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/14686310
  23. How much does running a video card at x8 instead of x16 impact performance? Am running a M2 SSD on the M2_1 on this board https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z97%20Extreme6/ The video card is a GTX 1080, CPU i7-4790k, and SSD is a Samsung 950 M.2 SSD
