IvanSnipedYu reacted to Dackzy in I'm trying to sound proof a room.
you are not going to get anything that will fully sound proof the room, since you cannot put it in the walls. The best you can get is something that will lower the sound leakage from the room.

The Tascam DR40 is a good recording device. There are always going to be better or worse products, depends on what you need and your budget.

Guess the room will stay unused then Thanks everyone for all the advice.

NP .. also, even if you were to find a cheap way to sound-proof that room, after that the sound would mainly leak from the window you have on that wall (even closed) rendering the whole process useless. And getting a sound-proofed window would again send you back to your initial budget problem!

IvanSnipedYu reacted to Delicieuxz in I'm trying to sound proof a room.
They work great for isolating environment noises from my microphones, and their isolation effect is very audible when surrounded by them. I don't know how much they do to prevent sound from reaching outdoors, though, because I'm never outdoors while audio is playing from within a shield of them.

Roxul is owned by Rockwool International. I don't know what the difference, if any, is between the brands.

Okay, I'm starting to wonder, possibly it could be because of the device's software. That got me thinking. I'll look in to it, thank you again.

I kinda liked reach's forge. However, it did lack that ghetto feel in the Halo 3 forge that made it extremely fun to mess around with your friends.

Sry that I missed that. I have never had any case or tempered glass brake on me but since you mention killing 5on your S5 I am pretty much helpless in that departement but still tried to help.

You're getting an overflow. The maximum value for an integer in Java is 2,147,483,647. Change product to a double or a long, which have higher maximum values.

IvanSnipedYu reacted to elpiop in Need Help with Java HW!
You can use printf().
System.out.printf("The product of all the even digits: %.0f",product);
This formats the number to 0 decimal places.

IvanSnipedYu reacted to rexist in Can someone explain to me why this wont work? [Java]
your condition for do...while loop is wrong
let's say your input's string is = "This App Won't worK"
the length would be 19
if your x start from 0 to <= 19 that would be 20 loops for only 19 characters.
the first 1 was already close thou.
it should be while(x<k)

IvanSnipedYu reacted to HPWebcamAble in Need Help with Creating Java Methods
You mean mean it doesn't tell you the result?
You need to ask it to print to the console.
Here's the method to do that:
system.out.println( "<something to print>" )
