  1. no editing or anything like that, bit of photography but thats about it, i am currently running an hd7970 which i have been using for many years, and yeah, not just doom but a lot of games so yeah, thats just what im playing atm
  2. so im building a new gaming pc and just wanting peoples opinions on which gpu to choose 2070 super or 5700xt i game on 3440x1440 playing games recently such as doom the rest of the build consists of ryzen 5 3600 16gb ram nvme boot ssd 2 1tb 2.5" ssds storage also ill add there is a $2-300 price difference between the two cards, the 2070 super being $1000 and the 5700xt being 7-800 on average really only for gaming and not even the most high end, just want a good pc to last the years to come
  3. That is true, or the 1800x is the same price as the 2700 where I live as well, never thought about that
  4. I thought about it, but I'll be moving out of home soon so I probably wouldn't have the money to. Upgrade. Again within a year
  5. yeah i think ill get the 2700 non x due to pricing and performance, plus can overclock a bit anyway
  6. I already a have a be quiet dark rock pro, so a cooler is not a problem, I most likely won't be streaming, just gaming, watching movies, so yeah, but I also won't Be upgrading for a while, so a 2700 may be my, and. At the same time a 2700 plus motherboard would cost the same as a 8600k plus motherboard
  7. I'll. Keep that in mind, also I just looked, at the prices and a 2700 would only be an extra 40$ over a 8600k so. Would that be worth it? Although a 2600 is 250 compared a to 420 for the 2700 and 380 for 8600k
  8. mostly fps games, but also kerbal space program, and cities skylines, also gta 5
  9. what would be the better cpu for gaming? im trying to build a reasonably cheap gaming computer with great performance, mostly to beat my friends 7700k, (not that important) but havent really kept up with technology, i dont really plan on overclocking so keep that in mind, will be running with 16gb ram and 1080 and also 3440x1440p monitor
  10. i heard about the mounting system which im not worried about, ill install it once and thatll be it, not too worried about design, only thing is the price, as the dr3 is $40 cheaper here
  11. im wanting air cooler not liquid, and i want it to be very quiet, it is going in corsair 400q so it would get a lot of airflow to it, the nhd15 is out of my price range but i have the choices of, dark rock 3 and pro 3, gamer storm assasin, and Phanteks PH-TC14PE out of these coolers which would be best? ill only be overclocking at most to 4.3 or so EDIT, i plan to only use one fan, as ill have one on the rear panel, and essentially 3 on the front panel
  12. not worried about the games as im getting a 1080ti very soon, and i would use the dp ports but i dont actually have the cable, im hoping the monitor comes with one, but im not sure since its a refurbished model
  13. basically all in the title but also, will a dp to hdmi adapter work just as well
  14. i have the gpu power, and the only "graphical" work id be doing is photoshopping every so often but hardely ever
  15. i am too, and the only experience i have had with ultrawide is in shops
