Depends, it's like any 24' ips ~60hz monitor, except wider.
 
I would personally wait for the asus and other to bring 90hz to 21:9 gaming ( but I like higher refresh rates )
 
Does refresh rate matter to you ? If so, maybe get a 144hz ips monitor

I can also go work for two hours instead and have 40 bucks, what's the point ?

Hmhm, thanks for the extra bit of information I'll be very careful with anyone that I contact about my project.

I feel motivated to push this idea it's not like I feel it'll make me rich or anything, it's not like I want to invent the next facebook or anything sortlike.
But at the other side I do not want to stop with University I have worked hard to start studying and I'm offered the chance to do so, so I wouldn't want to dissapoint my parents who have invested a lot of time and money into me to go to University.
 
I'll look into some more information about making a patent / copyright and about the costs of it hopefully the people I'll call for information will be able to help me futher.

Go with the Gigabtye Z87 board. You will not notice a difference between 2 3.0 x16 PCI-e slots and a 3.0 x16 with a 2.0 x16 slot.

Only Dual GPU cards can saturate 2.0 x16 fully, so it should be completely fine.

Eh, slow, fragile, bad battery life, really hot, expensive to repair, don't last long, close to impossible to upgrade and more. 

Imho a laptop is not an replacement for a desktop, but a nice addition to a desktop. 
 
Cons gaming laptop:
-Bad upgradability -> way faster outdated than a desktop
-lower performance
-limited cooling performance -> very loud and hot
-almost no customizability
-gaming laptops often have low quality casing 
 
But at the end it is your decision, if you feel like a desktop is not usable/very uncomfortable to use in your situation then go for a laptop. 
 
I have my gaming rig and an ultrabook for mobile use (no gaming on the ultrabook ofc) 

I personally would put up with the hassle, but that's because I've had bad experiences with laptops in the past. But I don't see how you could go wrong with an i7 & 760 equivalent. 

The laptops you have mentioned have:
Good:
1. Graphics
2. Screen
Bad:
1. Battery life
2. for gaming keyboard is bad(can be fixed by getting an external keyboard)
3. Weigh more than 3 kilos
4. Very awkward to keep it in the lap.
 
The bad battery life would leave you hunting for an outlet very often. 
 
I would suggest getting a Haswell based Intel graphics light weight laptop for school and a good powerful desktop for gaming, if possible.
 
If you cannot get a new laptop, a lot of very good used laptops are available on eBay.

The hassle really is a better alternative then laptop gaming. The gtx 780m which is like $2000 laptops is equivalent to a gtx 660 ti. I would just get an ultrabook for class and keep the gaming rig.

People always tend to regret getting rid of their desktop for a laptop. I would say do what you can to pickup something like an ultrabook for school work and on that note you really won't need anything extravagant or expensive. It tends to be a win/win there.

That's because they aren't just mobile versions of the desktop GPU's. Odd's are if that you'll spend 2k on a "Gaming" laptop with decent specs and a $1200 desktop will be able to kick it into next month. Just get an Ultrabook or something, you'll regret selling your desktop and after  2 years you would have to buy a new laptop to continue to play current games at medium-high settings.

A GTX 770m is the equivalent of an underclocked GTX 660.

Micro transactions is terrible - I rather just buy the game itself.  

I prefer just writing it out zero confusion.  When I say 3840x2160, it means exactly that

I have an ITX board and I only have two fan connectors 1 for the stock cooling and 1 for the fan in the back, the 230mm in the front is connected with a molex connector.
I still find that the front fan is the loudest I just tested it, I might get Noctua's instead with a bitfenix recon as fancontroller.
