    you do realize the extra stuff the Deluxe addition adds has zero impact on the game, correct? those who purchase it will only purchase it because they've played the first game and want to see more Max and Chloe in the bonus episode; it's essentially a given sale for those who enjoyed the original LiS. it's the only game I've ever pre-ordered with the deluxe stuff because I'd loved the original and wanted to see more of the original characters, along with the new story

    then 16:9 is perfect. I'm running a Dell S2716DG atm (open box was a super good deal), and it's fantastic. Despite the TN panel, colors are still passable, and the industrial design both looks and functions well.

    I ran an ultrawide 2560x1080 panel for about a year, and it was nice. However, I ran into quite a few issues with games; NiER Automata refused to run at ultrawide, and many required a workaround. For video editing + after effects work, the horizontal real estate was fantastic, yet 16:9 is still fine.

    I'm running a 1080 Strix on a 1440p 144hz panel, so it's pretty close In almost all the games I play, it's easily over 80fps, with the exception of Rise of the Tomb Raider, which hovers around 60. Rainbow Six Siege is always over 110fps at max settings with FXAA, and I recall GTAV running at around 70 maxed out with 4xmsaa. Forza Horizon 3 is around 80 with max settings as well

    @dizmo oh wow, sorry for this super late reply it's nice, if not massive. tbh, I'm surprised the side panel got on, as there's about a millimeter of clearance. Under full load, it's not super quiet, but does a good job keeping my 5820k under 75 degrees at 4.5ghz 1.31 volts

    non-conductive thermal paste shouldn't cause an issue if it doesn't work, try cleaning it a bit more, but afaik not all pins are utilized in LGA, so you're probably fine

    Remember Me is a load of fun with a good story (imo). Essentially, it's based in future Paris where memories are stored by a large corporation called Memorize. You play as Nilin, a memory hunter who can remix other people's memories to influence them. it's probably in my top 10 games, and it's around 10 dollars on Steam

    imo, aesthetic RGB is fine; I have a Hue+ in my personal build, and it's amazing to be able to choose any colour or effect for my PC if I ever feel like switching up my colour scheme. RGB on graphics cards is fine, as long as it's tasteful (imo, the Strix cards do this well). anything else is pretty unnecessary, save the Asus Rampage Extreme VI, because that just looks incredible.

      Haha no worries! Nice, good to hear. My roommate doesn't care about noise, he just wants it to stay cool. Currently he has a 20" fan pointed at the side of his open case...without his PC overheats and crashes :P

    I purchased one a few weeks ago, and I like it. The portable aspect is amazing; playing Rocket League split screen at school is pretty neato. Games are definitely not an issue; there are loads of indie titles to go along with the AAA stuff on the eShop. The Switch does feel lacking when it comes to actually being a tablet; there's no web browser, Netflix, or YouTube for some reason, although there is Hulu. Nintendo has promised these will be added at some point, but idk.
